Unbelievable!!!!

Was the PS2 on Watchdog? If that wasn't, then the 360 shouldn't be tbh. Sony wouldn't even replace faulty PS2s, u had to buy a new one.

Yes but I didnt hear of anyone who had to return 2 or more PS2's in the first couple of months. Yet the list is growing of 3 time senders.

I just get the feeling that sooner or later that will end up on watchdog, with a kids parent who has had to send 3 or more back leaving little timmy with a console for 12 days out of 3 months.

I'm gonna buy one but I'm not confident it will get to 6 months with out atleast one return.

It can do quackers. Though talk of putting it directly to a wall socket can fix it in a few cases.

3 Red lights are a hardware failure, as documented by the FAQ :D

Why would that be though? People have power hungry PCs running off multiplugs, I know I do. (or multi sockets I guess is the term)

Gotta admit, I'd be suspicious if you've plugged directly into the mains. I know this day and age it shouldn't be an issue, but if it wasn't there wouldn't be such things as surge protectors!

Personally, for the sake of a couple of quid, buy one and see how it goes with your next one. What have you gotta lose?

I wonder how long it will be before the 360 is on watchdog.

Wow man..........every post of yours ive read has dark clouds all over it

I reccomend removing all the knives from your kitchen just incase a light bulb blows when you least expect it

I do have one..just that it's full. When the next unit comes i'll plug it in the protector from the off.

I have 4 lightbulbs as back up.

It's not a dark cloud at all, I just fully expect the failures to make watchdog. Its not like i'm not going to get one, I just find the dual and triple failure rate a bit disconcerting.

I doubt very much you would buy a keyboard or PSU for your PC if this many people on ocuk posted failures. It would make you look at alternatives wouldnt it?

my 1st 360 died, after the fanta spillage 2nite it froze for the 1st time, when me n me mate wer playin fifa

You promised me better spelling! LIAR! You're no 'marra' of mine!

I'm not convinced of the plug issue. Into a single wall socket i've got- PC, 26" LCD, printer, 2 external HDD's, Sub, AV Receiver, DVD player, X360 and a lader fridge :o (plus a few other bits and bobs to take the total to 13 plugs)

Only issue I have is with the sound sometimes cutting out on my AV receiver when the fridges compressor cuts in.

Feel sorry for you mate. 1 going pop is just one of those things, but 2 starts to take the wee wee.

Cheers mate. Just got off the phone with them..another exchange is set up.

These faults are starting to take the shine off what is truly an amazing console...and the only reason i haven't got myself a refund!

a bit different this one though. your's is kinda self inflicted, albeit a tad unlucky too!

on the question of multiplug thingies, i've been running my pc, monitor, speakers, printer off a surge protected 6 gang extension for ages with no problems. My router and network switch are on a seperate one.

as for the xbox, that's running of a 6 gang extension as well, together with a gamecube, cd player, amp, tape player and TV. although not everything is switched on at the same time. It's normally the TV, 360 and the amp.

well i havent long moved into this house and i have bugger all sockets in this bedroom! I have two yes TWO single sockets. So i have a 4 way thing with some adaptors plugged into it i got no choice :( I got TV/xbox/stereo/freeview/laptop when battery going flat/mixer :/
