Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy on PC - mid-2022

Was not a fan of this and never completed it when I had a PS4 Pro. Does not come close to HZD in my opinion. Though I may give it another go when I can pick up a steam key for around a tenner in a year or so.

It comes out tomorrow. I am HYPED. It's Naughty Dog, so this is the first PC foray into what we can expect from Last of Us Remake too when that launches soon.

They show the display settings screen in the review, not sure why he wasn't playing with DLSS set to Quality, he said they got 50-60fps at 4K, and in the video I saw many stutters so that 11900K they were using was affecting the 1% lows (yes yes I know LTT hates the 11900K with a passion for being a "downgrade" over the 10900K lol).

£30.49 CDKeys btw too.

Ordered, £29.73

So somehow managed 2.4hrs playtime today lol.

DLSS Quality although DLSS off is 90fps anyway but with it on it's 180~ fps, framelocked to 120 in RTSS. A superb port, so smooth and excellent response from both mouse/keyboard and general mechanics. Visually stunning in many places too and the ragdoll and facial animations and details look quite incredible.

Also, DLSS Sharpness defaults to 65 or so, doesn't look bad like in other games (God of War) where if you move the camera slowly, the texture details shimmer slightly at a pixel level even if the DLSS sharpness is set to a value of 1. Pretty awesome stuff.

I played Uncharted from the 2014 PS3 days, glad I held off getting a PS4 to play the later games.

System utilisation and consistency is the same regardless of what is happening in-game, a sign of excellent optimisation. My E-core 1 is doing some things with background apps, whilst the P-Cores appear to not need to do much work at 3440x1440. This is Days Gone levels of optimisation

Sounds like they're not bringing the first three games across without doing some kind of The Last Of Us remaster. Hopefully they will do it to accompany the next Uncharted film because it sucks when 60% off the saga is exclusive to console hardware.

I think because you can play the first three games on PS Now on the PC. Not as good an native experience.

Yup I've played some underwater bits in other games like GTA V and Cyberpunk and they felt like a game still, whereas this it felt so real and especially doing things like looping the cable around the axles, that felt natural and quite fun to actually do.

Meh, my character got stuck on that looping the cable bit, couldn't move in any direction, solved it though by rage quitting.

I loved the first 3 games. So many fond memories of the first game and they were hard on the controller with the hardest difficulty. The Remaster had a Brutal difficulty. 2 shots and you were dead. 1 shot you were near dead.
