Argument/debate, it's not really that different is it? I can't see how it would warrant a closure when no rules are being broken.

It is true what I said though, people are entitled to opinions, but only informed opinions, and it's getting tiresome seeing people type any old crap and then defend their ignorant viewpoint with "I can say what I want, my opinion".

People calling each other ignorant is borderline personal attacks, which tend to lead into more obvious personal attacks. I don't want that to happen, hence my request to keep it civil.

Well I can assure you, I'll say someone is ignorant for what they're doing or saying, but it won't lead me on to make personal attacks. Ad hom isn't my thing. :p

I can refute points without talking about someone's mum and all that.

People have a right to an informed opinion, yours is not informed, and yes you are just talking smack. You are making claims and claiming that that in itself is "proof".

The point being, you are looking at the specs and comparing them to a PC, you don't do that because that's not how it works.

You've been asked multiple times in this thread about how the PS3 coming out when the 8800GTX came out, and how that's any different to now and you haven't responded to it. So tell me more about how I can't handle opinions that differ from my own, also, define "next gen", as it seems that nearly no one actually knows what it means.

Oh and, consoles don't hold the PC back, consoles have had a lot to do with the progression of the games industry, without consoles games would not be where they are now.

Another thing you are ignorant to, but still try to express authoritative opinions on based solely on your "PC Master Race" membership card.

Calling me ignorant because my opinion is different is just weird, then he goes on to say somehow I'm expressing express authoritative opinions on based solely on your "PC Master Race" membership card. Couldn't be more of a personal attack.
