Bad idea. My overclock was 100% stable for constant loops of Heaven 3 and 4. Played Crysis 3 for a few minutes and got a mad rainbow screen!

If you can play Crysis 3 for a few hours then its pretty much stable

Thanks i was kinda tempted to try overclocking them, but when i started playing games i realised there powerful enough:D

Bravely bringing up the rear with 2 card solutions, pair of 7770 in crossfire @ stock + i5 2500k @ 4.2 gives 637 Heaven marks. Didn't screenshot it, but at this resolution with that AA it's heavily (heavenly?) memory bottlenecked.

EDIT: Interestingly, benchmarking this setup at the native resolution pretty much doubles the score. My gaming PC is plugged into a 720p TV - it looks like the 7770's scale fairly well but are memory capacity and bandwidth limited.

Scored 1199 with every setting maxed out at 720p

Yep the 128bit bus really holds the HD7770 cards back. Such a shame they couldn't have given it a 192 bit bus its performance would have been so much better.

They could be so much more, but that's where the market is. They are beastly fast little cards that artificially held back by memory throughput.

If I was trying to display at 1080p I couldn't recommend them at all. At 720p, they are fantastic.

Cobbles are no longer needed, just the results screen anywhere in Heaven 4 - yours is fine.

Some of the info Heaven 4 shows can be a bit odd.

Could you confirm your CPU speed please.
