Congrats to Lewis and Merc for two solid years!
Some race thoughts.
-First corner move was borderline dickish and I hope in the future the stewards keep a better tab on things occurring early on, while I don't think any penalty should have been applied I think the drivers could do with knowing that they are being looked at for stuff like that. Ultimately Rosberg didn't have position, speed or a plan B for that corner.
-Kimi is a has-been and Ferrari will never win a WCC with him wasting the second seat.
-Lewis lost more through VSC's and SC's (especially with Mercs awful strat calls this year) then he gained, only the 'half price' final pit stop benefited him and made up for the advantage Ros and Vet already had. It's odd that those who were crying how 'lucky' he was at the time seemed to forget that.
-Asides from the early inter stages when the DBR's had a clear advantage Lewis's pace was actually quite good for most of the race, he wasn't struggling as much as was made out and was mostly suffering from poor calls and SC timing.
-Rosberg can whine about whatever he wants, he ultimately threw away his championship hopes while leading several laps from the end when he almost spun the car.
-Mclaren were the most lucky of all, between the safety cars and a slew of cars in front of them retiring they almost looked midfield this race, while they have made considerable progress this year they cant rely on circumstance flattering them with another 6th.
-The Autosport forums are a hive of retards.
