In order to make 6+ seconds up in the same car, then you need a different strategy.

In order to lose 6+ seconds to the same car, you need to make bad strategy decisions. If Hamilton had his own strategy team, he would cover Rosberg by copying his strategy and maintain the 6 second lead. Hamilton has no reason to gamble on a different one.
 
Verstappen dropped back from Rosberg - I wonder if there's been another communication from the team (that we've not heard) since his childish retort :)

I didn't say that. What I said is you lot bang the same drum all the time and it's tiresome.

For the record I couldn't care less who wins, previously I would have preferred Rosberg but after his antics in Austria I just can't support that. It's just every single time Hamilton fails to win it's always about 'luck', yes he's had some absolute stinkers this year but as I've said a thousand times motorsport will never be just about who's purely the quickest. Never has been, never will be.

Why is it every retort is childish from him bit if Vettel tells his team what should happen on strategy it's awesome? Not jumping on the bandwagon are you per chance?

He was pushing because he wants to get on the podium.... wanting to do better is childish, better alert the entire grid that pushing to gain places is just a childish attitude.


Hamilton finally gained a whole second compared to the gap at the end of the first stint, so if Rosberg is on two stop and Hamilton on a three, he's boned. Though that time seems to be purely Ricciardo holding him up, very hard to tell if he can be at all faster than Rosberg on the softs vs mediums.
 
Hamilton is probably safe now as long as Rosberg needs to pit again.

By the same token Rosberg could argue why he was put on a different strategy to Ricciardo/Raikonnen and risk his guaranteed 2nd/3rd place finish.
 
Oh dear Max, disastrous pit, thought he was asked to pit! Blown his chance of threatening Nicola.
 
Could have been worse and done a Hamilton/Button, and driven through the wrong box :D
