Just got tickets for The Wombats in may, and got some tickets for 'Scouting for Girls' at Leeds Uni too. Trying to cram in as many gigs this year as possible as won't be doing a festival.

Alexi is one of the best Metal guitarists around atm I reckon.
Korn were, well Korn, Munky wasnt there, not sure if that made much differance, it was ok.
Flyleaf suprised me, actually thought they were pretty good, some of the Korn fans were less than impressed though lol.

The Almighty tomorrow, again, I just nearly went to Glasgow on the wrong night
So my tickets for Knopfler arrived yesterday and i've bought tickets to see Def Leppard today with Whitesnake as support.

Def Leppard tickets arrived today - I've also booked tickets for Hampden to see Neil Diamond (awaits possible flaming)
Seen him two years ago in Newcastle and it was a fantastic concert - really looking forward to this one

Have to say, that gig was awesome, wasn't impressed with Kylesa to be honest, the sound was a bit poor.
Missed the other support band, Taint.
Baroness were on amazing form, it was really great to see them up close in a pub venue. I got a nice T-shirt and Limited Edition print as well for posterity

Off to see Newton Faulkner at Carling Academy Birmingham tonight. Only other gig planned at the moment is Joe Satriani at the Birmingham Symphony Hall in May.
I went to the same gig at Newcastle Carling Academy, RBF were awesome. They get the SB6 girl to come on stage for She Has A Girlfriend Now, best gig I've been to in ages... Plus I got my photo taken with the lead singer from RBF and the girl singer from SB6 at the clubnight after the gig, both chatted with me for quite a while, really nice people.
