They should both be great gigs, I'm really looking forward to them.Marillion at Hammersmith end of the month and then Porcupine tree at Wembley Arena (or whatever its called currently) in November - not been there since one of my first ever concerts back in 2004 (!!) so I assume its changed a bit since then.
Presale tickets went up today for the Rammstein tour next year. We were looking to go to Berlin, so logged in bang on opening time (via a server in germany) to be in a virtual queue, by the time we got to the front all standing tickets sold out and as we tried to get seated they sold out from under us.
New Tuesday date popped up and managed to get fire zone tickets for that, great!
But just looked on viagogo and tickets are being resold already for 3-4x price Something needs to be done about these touts just fleecing music fans.
Had a ticket for Marillion Glasgow on Monday, last minute change, they are playing Tuesday now, presumably for Queens funeral.
No i never, thanks for thatDid you notice that the venue has changed too? It's not just a date change. But yeah, it's down to the funeral.

Uriah Heep Glasgow on 30th, Brian Cox show 2nd Oct, then Roxy Music on 10th of Oct I think it is?
Just saw Brian Cox on Monday, was a good show but I'm quite into Quantum mechanics and keep abreast of the latest news anyway so didn't particularly learn anything new. He does touch on some of the latest theories about the nature of space and time and whether it's an emergent property rather than a fundamental building block of nature. It's all about information rather than matter nowadays!
Thanks Freakbro, how were the visuals, heard a lot about its new matrial? Looking fwd to the show none the less, seeing him at Glasgow Hydro, looks like its pretty much sold out there.
Thanks, taking a new girlfriend and her daughter along, the Ladys do like Brian CoxVisuals were great, he was on a stage in front of a HUGE bank of screens so it was pretty epic in that regard. I saw him on his last tour, so yes, this is new material. If you're not already sure about them look up things like the Black hole information paradox, holographic principle and space-time graphs which will help to understand what he is going on about.
Confirmed that the are being replaced by BabymetalToying with booking one for the Hu's tour in December, should have originally seen them in March supporting Sabaton and it's gone suspiciously quiet about who the supports are on the rebooked dates and the Hu appear to have graduated to doing their own headline tours so I doubt it'll be them.
Question for regular concert goers. Do you take a burner phone of take your usual device with you.
I havent been to a concert for years, and always used to take a burner and not risk my expensive phone.
