That is normal thought you meant it sat at 1.3v always, just ryzen behaviour like to go to max frequency and spike the voltage to get background crap done quick.

That's why i posted my idle volts, to see if you was getting similar results, it should raise an lower.

Ok as you probably expected I have more questions

In the Asrock BIOS I set the memory up as XMP 5600, I thought this a bit weird as there were other choices inc EXPO maybe I should have used that option

Just an update re temps. I installed an app called FanControl. Idle temp now 47deg
