The new PSU arrived, I stuck it in, built the PC again and BAM! it was working 100%!!!

I'm installing windows as we speak...oh man...this has been a totally epic experience for me, and i'm giddy with elation right now lol.

WAHEY - at last!

That was a babtism of fire for your first build - but you've gained some invaluable experience along the way.

How's it holding up in games and stress testing?
 
well, in prime95 and memtest it runs fine, although I haven't done any 8 hour + tests. In games it runs beautifully, It was a joy to play Call of Juarez, everything maxed out, and running extremely smoothly.

One hitch I've had is with Crysis. I had been looking forward to trying it out, but it wont seem to run. I launch the game, and the screen goes black for 10 seconds or so before returning to the desktop.

Before it ran for a few minutes before giving me a BSOD or an error relating to nvvdlskm.sys, but I re-installed windows 7 with a newer build and now this is the issue.

I'm not too fussed really, i'm sure it'll get sorted eventually now.

I'm currently installing Bioshock for the first time (how I never got round to playing this i'll never know.)

Once I get everything perfect, with full stress tests done, I might dabble a little with overclocking.

The Crysis 1.2.1 patch is incompatible with win 7 64bit - you need to use the 1.2 patch only.
