    Tbh I find the best app for removing Windows 8 bloat is Windows 7!! :D

    Troll mode or not... sadly your right....IMO

    I've run 8.1 in a VM for 2 months now and I always end up mashing the keyboard and cursing at the monitor..... It's ... soooooooooooooooooooo frustrating....

    So, just tried Core Temp and it bricked my PC. Thank goodness for having a system restore point from a few days ago....!

    Coretemp just crashed me, can't even uninstall it for some strange reason not showing up in installed programs, Or revo uninstaller.

    Does Coretemp come with an installer now? All my (older) versions just unzip to a folder and run the exe from there.

    Rc6 version is what crashed me i can still see it in the metro apps when searching for it, Rc5 version runs straight away without install.

    It's a issure with windows 8.1 x64 as i have read elsewhere

    RC7 Version has been given out but not officaly released yet http://www.alcpu.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=2569&start=50

    GOVerlay, I'm using it with a little LCD screen I got off a well known auction site which ties into AIDA64 and Rivatuner server to dish up stats onto my desktop, tons of other features other than temps such as FPS, who's talking in teamspeak etc :)

    AOMEI Backupper Standard

    Freeware version allows full, incremental, differential backups. Also partition, disk, system, file/folder backups. Includes scheduling and locked file backups (vss). Windows XP-10

    Cloneapp, will Clone your App Content (Configuration files and folders from Windows directories, Registry entries, Pictures, Documents etc.) to Another Workspace to simplify the re-install process or only for Backup purposes.
