I am actually getting a bit protective of this. I will be very disappointed if this is not named "ocuk worst game of 2013":p

PS. Seriously though, nobody buy this game. It is atrocious, and the developers actually want to make it a franchise!
 
That I've played: Rome 2, bloody shocking.

That I've seen, or overall IMO is Ride to Hell: Retribution. Check out BirgirPalls video of it on Youtube, amazing stuff. :D
 
For me it would have to be:

Worst: Cod Ghosts - too many hacks, ran badly on day 1 and still runs badly, and still no built in FoV changer.

Most disappointing: GTA:V - growing up i've always loved GTA, and a return to san andreas seemed like a great idea, but it was missing 'something'. It just didn't grip me like the older games, and i stopped playing after a few days.
 
BF4, all the fuss they made about it, pre-order to play on day of release so you don't get left behind etc...

Turned out to be another EA piece of crap **** out the door before they did any real QA as a result of wanting a big piece of the PC, current gen and next gen pie.

Greedy buggers who don't give a toss about their customers, they've done it before and they'll do it again.

Bit harsh IMO considering if your new to the franchise then I'd wager you would find it half decent especially if it was your first time on a 64 man server- I appreciate it's not new for most people on here but to call is a piece of carp is unfair.

My vote would also go to ashes- so bad that they actually took it off sale and gave people money back- c'mon!
 
Don't get the hate for Bioshock Infinite, I personally preferred it to the first one.

Worst game (not disappointing) was probably either Aliens Colonial Marines or the Ashes game.
 
The Ashes game looks like trash don't know why they would release it

For me Rome 2 was the biggest disappointment considering how polished shogun 2 was. What's going on with the gaming industry these days? They are killing themselves with shoddy releases.

Oh forgot to mention the latest WRC game was total rubbish

I think Ashes Cricket must be the largest pile of poo this year.

Others have been more of a letdown - but really, I don't think any game beats that for sheer stink.

This, I actually considered trying to get a refund...

While Rome 2 release was bad (it can still be fixed from mods/patches), it's not even at the same level of disappointment as X-Rebirth which is fundamentally broken.
 
Having a think back and I didn't really play all that many games this year, and I didn't think any of them were bad. Hell, I would put Infinite as one of the most satisfying gaming experiences in my 25 years of gaming, but (as with all forms of media) it is incredibly subjective.
 
Another shout for RE6. I was hesitant to purchase after RE5 but I thought to myself "surely they learned from their mistake this time". Christ, what a mug I was.

RE7 will not be purchased.

Been playing the BF series since BF1942 when it was first released at lan parties and over the net, game was amazing when it was released. Like I said, EA made a big song and dance about getting people's preorders in blah blah blah...and look how many people had and still have problems just trying to play the game (coming up to 2 months since release). Anyhow my vote and I'm sticking to it, looking through the thread I'm not alone.

p.s the game is good when it works, just really crap when you're having a great game and it crashes on you.
