Is the only way if getting a key by watching twitch? and if so is it just luck?

You only need to have watched for 2 hours total with your linked twitch account. Doesn't matter if you're watching after that. I got a key after a good 3-4 days of not loading twitch at all.

I'm a bit fed up of this now, playing ranked and every game is a stomp either for or against my team and very rarely are there games which don't have someone abandoning. the last game was 3v5 after 10 rounds even though was relatively close. None of the games are that fun.

The games not that fun even when no one leaves to be honest, it lacks pace. For a game that's being called a cs/overwatch hybrid, it moves slower than the breakfast rush in an old peoples home. I try to treat it as its own game without comparing it to those two but it's just not that fun.

The most fun i've had in it so far has been through doing a gather with 9 cs friends, every time we play 5 vs randoms it's just really lacking in pace, the maps are pretty crap, i still don't trust the anticheat enough to ever leave it installed so i have to restart every time i want to play....I think it has potential, but it's still a long way off being a fun competitive game.

I'm really enjoying it. But my perspective might be a bit different because I haven't played online FPS games for about 15 years and never played CS or overwatch. Have to remember that it's still in closed beta too, albeit an extremely well polished one. Maps will change and gameplay tweaks will happen between now and full release. It seems Riot have invested a lot into this game so I imagine they'll do what it takes to make it a success.

Noticing quite a lot of salt in un-ranked games even funnier considering the first 20 basically count for nothing on your rank only the 21-25th count for appraisal. Like they all want to be absolutely PRO and people aren't allowed to have fun.

Had a nice guy earlier.. mick was his name constantly berating me throughout the match down the mic and asking if i was asleep ( i had actually just woke up ) anyway he was angry because my first several rounds were terrible.

so i pulled it back and topped the team board and econ all together :D Funny that he was so angry at me the whole match and yet he was the worst player in the entire lobby came last even second to ZeIN and BeffendeBrent who BOTH went AFK for over 6 matches

And yes i need to activate windows.. im waiting for a new drive to arrive on monday before i re install (changed motherboard)

First Ace! sadly my GPU is all kinds of messed up atm and if i have the recording on valorant goes to 15fps! new one arriving next week so hopefully will be able to record again then!

This is going to be another of those games that everyone plays to buggery during early access/beta but then is sick and tired of by the time it gets fully released.

Got my recording fixed. Though the audio is fubar and a few artifacts. Just in time for a decent game too! 15:10 was quite the interesting encounter.

Anyone tried the new patch yet? I'm looking forward to trying the AR changes.

Ranked up to Gold 2 last night after stomping a team of plats 13-1. I think the ranks are starting to balance out more now, I'd definitely be higher if I didn't refuse to solo-queue. I only play now when I've got a good 3+ stack of mates to play with.

I haven't done any team play yet and have done my first 20 games and have my 5 placements to do now... Sadly I don't have friends who play this.

Got access to the beta, realised how intrusive Vanguard was and promptly uninstalled it all :(

I know how hard it is to do anti-cheat but blocking things on my computer when I'm not playing the game simply because they have a vulnerability or feature *could* be used to enable a cheat is out of order. Especially since the beta doesn't actually tell you what it's blocking.

Absolutely loving this, played everyday since I got a key about 2 weeks ago, managed to get up to plat 2 as well. Such a nice change to see a competitive shooter that’s not a buggy mess or full of cheats, and it’s soo polished, and even though it’s still in beta

First 4 games today - brings back a lot of CS:GO memories.

It's not bad at all. Only played Sage so far. She's decent. 23/16 in last game including a clutch 3 kill defuse when we were match point down.

Will keep ticking over with it. Good fun.

Just got a key for beta.

I was watching a Twitch stream the other day and got this via watching someone. Shame there's no key since I have zero interest in it. I've watched a few people stream this and it reminds me of CS but people take this far to seriously.

Been watchin twitch streams for a couple of days and no key for me. Got 3 or 4 buddies playing and me with my poor luck not playing :D

Took me a good while too pal! i would suggest putting it on in the background and forgetting about it! was enough 24/7 streams when i was trying to get mine
