Valorant

You definitely can have the stream muted, I think I had sound on for around an hour in total. I just signed up, linked accounts and then had the stream open in a background tab every day for a few days before getting a key.
The way the drops work, once you've had a stream open for 2 hours you're in the pool. Doesn't matter if you're watching or not.

BUT... muting the twitch player does not count you as a viewer. You can right click and mute the tab, but you can not mute the twitch player.

Aye I'm going to ditch unranked mode now. I generally play quick play on games if the rules are more relaxed to make the games shorter. May as well just play ranked and get something at the end of it.

What I'd like to see added is the ability to change hero at the select screen. It's odd how once you've chosen, you can't change. You might want to change to suit the comp better, but once you've chosen, that's it.

Prefer having to chose at the start, I think if they release enough agents we could end up seeing a pick and ban system like in dota, not sure if league is the same ?

Nooo I don't mean being able to change mid game ala Overwatch, but once you've picked your agent, you can't change. For example if I pick Cypher and someone else picks Sova, I'd like to be able to change before the game starts (still on the select screen).

Exactly! I like to lock whoever I want to play, but if I do that and then decide we might need more info or someone else that wasn't chosen may work better, I'd like to be able to.

Makes sense! like 15 seconds of that window to allow alterations to team composition in case an important champ has been missed.

Been aim training quite a bit recently! ( not in valorant this was just me testing the waters with matched sens ) feel like upto 30 degree angle i am killing anything then outside of that im less consistent! going to slow down those longer angles a bit more to try and get the muscle memory tuned!

Good effort! I like to practise on the bots for a few rounds before going in-game. Set the bots to hard with armor and then try one-tapping with the Vandal. After that I'll do a couple of the 100 streak strafe bots.

Never seems to help. :D

I placed bronze 2 after my placements, but I think the ranking system needed a few days to gather a lot of info about peoples play styles. Played a few games and I'm up to silver 1 now, the bronze games have gotten easier over the last couple of days as the better players fly through the ranks.

My main issue is inconsistency. I'll play one game and one-tap everything in front of me, then the next game I'll be shooting peoples feet. I'm too old to be consistently awesome now :(

had one game so far. Got MVP on my team with around 25 kills which im happy with. been playing COD recently so widly different play styles.

the abilities are still way over my head and i very rarely used them (could have just been my character choice though?) as other people seem to be using theirs which was useful.

my dude could create a wall of fire and teleport back

Ah I get what you mean, just don’t lock in until last seconds? I’m usually in a 3 man atleast so can mostly get a decent composition anyway

Yeah same lol,

Then I go into twitch and watch 16 year olds playing, they all have the reaction speed of a frigging cat, terrifying to watch - then I remember what I was like when I was that age in 1997 playing Quakeworld :D

I noticed a lot of kids these days have a honed reaction flick kind of aim - very hard to compete against for an old timer but though they can react and hit you first it is only a certain percentage of the time and not better than 50% so you will win out overall in real combat scenarios.
