You clearly do not understand business.

Should have bought it anyway, at £100 below RRP you could have sold it for at least £50 profit XDI had one in my shopping basket at £450 and then thought better of it.
Lets get one thing crystal clear here!
Launch MSRP $499, a $100 reduction for launch, regular MSRP of $599, check a site such as newegg for confirmation:
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod...BESTMATCH&Description=RX+VEGA&N=-1&isNodeId=1
UK launch MSRP £449, a £100 reduction, yes we got a full £100 which worked favourably and much cheaper than you can buy one from US, remember US is excluding taxes. Now launch pricing is finished, so £549 which falls in line with $599 MSRP.
@Gibbo
out of interest, did you buy one for yourself ?

Incorrect .... Launch price MSRP at siggraph ..Confirmed by AMD is 499 dollar ...
Where did that extra 100 dollar came from all of a sudden ?
The specific variant that is affected by the price inflation is the reference air cooled model which should have shipped at the $499 US price but AMD has told their partners to sell the card at the same pricing as the limited edition model. This means that the reference SKU will be feature a price of $599 US which is $100 US more than the suggested price and that would be a major drawback for Vega.
Other models have also been bumped up in prices but the reference model has seen the highest jump so far.
As per post above SIGGRAPH slide said msrp for black cooler was 499. Metal cooler and game bundles 100 more but reports did say distributers would hike the price by 100. So probably ocuk have to pay 100 more to secure stock from their distributers.
The monitor bundle deal makes no sense. And said bundle would give money off monitor $200. Yet ocuk price of card and monitor puts the monitor at £800 which is 50 more than it sells alone!
Why?
Just checked and monitor is £739 at well known stores. That's less than ocuk and makes this bundle price even more crazy as there isn't the promised AMD $200 off the monitor if you bought it with a card. What gives? Monitor pack should be £449 for card + £600 or there about a for monitor.

any benchmarks for the Vega 64 yet? My nephew is looking at buying a 1080ti at the end of the month is it worth switching to the vega 64 instead? or to early to tell yet?

No PC at home and perk of the job if I wanted one, I'd just ask a board partner for a free one. But doubt it will go into my Ryzen laptop, unless I got one of those external box thingies.
