Huh? How so?Lmao, instant karma.
Also worth noting that the V56 may have higher demand than the V64 did because it's just as good for mining but cheaper (both cards have the same memory, just the V64 has a factory overclock, when the V56 is clocked to match the difference is negligible). It still can't beat the GTX1070 while using more power, but as it should cost less than the V64 it's a less dumb decision. If you're after a 56, id try and get in quick on launch to pay the launch price
If you're after a 56, id try and get in quick on launch to pay the launch price, as once all gone, they'll be going up in price, will be more expensive than the 1080!
So that's what happened.. ordered at 2.06, along with an Oculus (which was also in stock at the time) only to get an email today saying the item's not in stock and they'll ship once it's back in. Have to wait on both now..And make sure you order before 2:05, because at 2:06 stock will be over-allocated by 150 cards and you'll end up with a pre-order instead.

just noticed **** trying to sell through their ebay store for £658.74 (Power Color Radeon RX Vega 64) with 6 in stock . lol
Meh. I took one look at the £599 prices today after reading some reviews and bought a 1080 Ti. That thing cost £676. I really wanted something for my 3440x1440 freesync display too but come on, that pricing is the best Nvidia advertisement.
Hypothetically Vega 56 should go for £349 that would be a really attractive proposition as you could get some 75+ pints for the difference but I have no trust it'll really be for sale for that price point for ore than about half an hour.. Perhaps for Xmas you could get a good deal..
I'm genuinely very VERY happy that I was one of the lucky few who got one of the 64's at the £449 price.
Before sales went live I was set on £475 as the absolute MAX that I would pay for the 64, and I still think that that's the maximum the reference card should be. £550 is really a silly RRP for this card regardless of bundled games (imo £500-550 should be top tier AIB prices)
If paying £450 or more I would just go for a 1080.
When the V64 was £450 it was a pretty even field, the 1080 had energy saving, G-Sync, PhysX and a slight lead in some games going for it. The V64 had FreeSync, a slight lead in some games (with the likelihood this would increase with mature drivers) and a large lead in non-games going for it.If paying £450 or more I would just go for a 1080.
I notice that the banner background on the shop site have already gone back to Threadripper from Vega. Bit soon? Maybe at £550 there is not much point pushing them.
