VEGA IS FINALLY HERE, ITS IN STOCK ALONG WITH SOME EPIC BUNDLES & FREESYNC DEALS!!

Long time purchaser (about 10 years) but haven't posted before; I've never felt the need to. However, this has been a huge mess. Appreciation goes to OcUK for being open about the pricing situation, and thumbs down to AMD for not mentioning this. I plan on speaking with my wallet and not buying. I'd highly recommend anyone in the same position as I to do the same - moaning on forums won't change AMD's position but not buying the product will.

I'm currently running two unlocked R9 Furys in CF and was bagging on Vega to finally get back on a single GPU setup (rocking a 4k Freesync, so AMD was my preferred choice) but this news is disappointing. Bugger.
 
I also was going to look at buying a Vega 56 GPU, but the price rubbish thats gone on coupled with the supposed high power and temperatures has put me off. Instead I went with a used gtx 1070, runs brilliantly and ive got it overclocked to 2.1ghz at stock voltage, so its running in gtx 1080 territory. How can you argue with that?

I could argue with it depending on how much you paid for the GPU :p;)

i was also one of the few lucky gamers to grab the 64 at the £449 price. For me thats the best price for the 64, any higher and you may as well go Nvidia.

Do not regret my choice and i know its only an extra £50 but spending £500 on a graphics card sits on the uncomfortable side with me.

I pre-ordered the Water cooled ver. For 680 euro with tax.... And just now the new Price is 899 euros with tax in Greece...

Still none have shipped to Greece.

I hope Plaisio.gr does not delete by accident my order...
