VEGA IS FINALLY HERE, ITS IN STOCK ALONG WITH SOME EPIC BUNDLES & FREESYNC DEALS!!

Anyone know what the improvement would be from a stock RX480 to Vega 56? I have gone from 1080p 60hz to 1440p 144hz Freesync since I bought the 480 and even though it does *ok* I would like better performance. I'm thinking of trying to grab one at the launch price and don't mind a blower card.

I dont think the v56 does anything worse then a 480 except mining per watt possibly. Reminds me of my 7950 xmas '13 and I should have sold it when btc spiked, my bad

Any more 64's coming in at £450?

I remember reading Tuesday because Gibbo wanted to personally supervise the allocation and Monday is bankholiday so it can wait. But Monday is official launch for v56 worldwide so that cant wait

Some are actually OK. I enjoy Caisey Neinstats vlogs.
I think he is a movie director so that'd figure. Its interesting to see just who is buying up all these cards, he must be spending three figures a week on elec. Overall that system is unsustainable

Gibbo said something about being in Scotland on Monday so he has to monitor the stock some other way and cut it off at a certain point.

Ed: his post:

Guys a heads up, try to keep it to within OcUK forum ONLY!

As you all know or should know VEGA 56 launches Monday at 14:00, we shall be doing a STAND ALONE PACK at a special, supported price again, there shall be a RED Pack at normal price, the good news is AMD have authorised us to sell thousands at this supported price, the hope the cards remains on sale for longer than an hour and though I won't confirm the exact price, it shall be under £400 ! Though we have some stock now, the bulk of stock arrives next week, Bank holiday weekend is playing havoc with shipments, so the bigger volume will arrive following week, so if the products show pre-order, just get your order in, do not wait for them to show in stock otherwise you risk missing out on the reduced price.

Also AMD have extended our supported price on VEGA 64 and they want us to go live at the same time, unfortunately we can only sell an additional 300 units, so we expect them to really not last long, the price will be £469-479 and we expect them to be gone within the hour. You will see to simplify matter these products are now called "STAND ALONE" and games are removed. New identical products have being setup, but are called Black Pack and have the games. *HOWEVER* due to the limited quantity this pricing shall go live the following day Tuesday 29th August at 13:45 so I can monitor the run-rate and remove product from sale when the allocated 300 units is sold out (I DO NOT WORK BANK HOLIDAYS & SHALL BE IN SCOTLAND). This date/time won't be moved, so don't even ask. If you cannot make yourself available at 13:45 Tuesday 29th to spend 5 minutes ordering, thats your issue, not ours, take a poo break, coffee break or even the day off.

I am giving you a heads up, this is only posted here on the forum and it gives you first chance to jump on the site and get an order in for VEGA 56 on August 28th at 14:00 at sub £400 or a VEGA 64 at £469-£479 on August 29th at 13:45.

This shall ONLY be posted in this thread!

Hmmm. Anyone else having issues logging in to the shop site? Saw the excellent advise to pre-log in and tried to, but it keeps saying there is an issue and blocks me trying for a few minutes. It's the correct password and email and I've double and triple checked. I'm guessing if I log in via Amazon I won't get the free shipping that forum members get.
