Very dissapointed

That sounds like a driver issue or cable/monitor problem.

Did it flicker using the igpu ?
No, works absolutely perfect with the IGPU with HDMI and D-PORT 1,2,3. As soon as a GPU is plugged in i have issues. I also uninstalled all drivers using DDU in safe mode, booting back up and installing with and without internet. Nothing worked, I've tried in x3 monitors including a 120hz 4k TV, which when I connected my 3080 PC up to worked fine.

My monitor I currently use is a ASUS TUF GAMING VG32VQ1B

Was gonna sugest to get into the bios and change the gpu pcie express from auto to 4 or 3 .

Has OCUK become a massive scam? I ordered a full 5090 system, it arrived well packaged etc, I plugged it in ... nothing the GPU doesn't work constantly flickers and then no signal, I can only use the IGPU, I checked all cables etc but still nothing tried 3 different monitors and several different cables. Again nothing. I tried to do a parts return form to be greeted with a Error 404. Phones are saying they're closed constantly and heard they don't reply for weeks on tickets.

came on to ask exactly the same thing.. had 2 tickets closed on me today, open for 40 mins and 10 hours, no responses, no number to call, no ticket comments, just "Solved" as the status...
Crazy...

The very best wishes for you OP. That system, when it works, would be a top end awesome build, it must have cost a lot.
I am surprised that they did not include a contact number for you to ring in such circumstances that you have found yourself in. Spending that amount of money on a personal build, it would not be unreasonable to expect to be able to have someone to talk to. Transporting and delivering a fully built system does have its risk, I do hope tha tyou have a quick resolve with this one.

Have you had any contact yet..?

All the best

£3799 so yeah not the cheapest haha. There is a number to call on their guide book. But that number is the offline number! And no I've had zero contact from them.

Problem is margins on PC components aren't and have never been great. Even on a system worth several thousand, the profit isn't going to be hundreds and hundreds. So it's not like they can afford to offer a VIP treatment, you'll get lumped in the same pile as someone ordering a £50 drive.

If possible see how old the shipped BIOS revision is - something I've encountered a few times recently on both Intel (13th/14th gen) and AMD is where for some reason the PCI-e bus doesn't work [properly] with CPUs which weren't released for the platform on BIOS which pre-date the CPU release... hence the GPU not working. While mostly a Intel 14th gen issue I have seen it with 9000 series AMD CPUs in boards on older BIOS versions - one variant of that being certain Gen 5 NVMEs being in the (usually top) CPU gen 5 M.2 slot for some reason knocking out the GPU - though you'd have thought OcUK would have checked that on a pre-build.

EDIT: Though with the issues with the 3080 it sounds like a different issue.

i have been reading that people have been having problems with OverclockersUK for the past 7 months. and people are saying to use the other place in Bolton (can't say the name) IMO they are better than OC. and i heard a Whisper( And it's only a Whisper) that they might be going Under.. if this is true! only time will tell.

Last week I used the Bolton store twice, on Thursday, and Saturday. Both orders were made on the phone on each day and were next day DPD delivery, both times, they arrived next day with zero issues, 1 of which, was a Sunday.
In the 20+ years I've been buying from them, their phoneline/website, have always worked. I genuinely cannot think of a single time I haven't been able to phone them, and they answer either instantly, or in under a minute, unlike OCUK.

The Bolton RMA team can be a bit hit or miss, but I have always ended up getting the refund/replacement, even when they've been difficult.
Other people have had RMA issues where they haven't been refunded etc though, so I wouldn't say they're perfect - but from a buying and general customer service experience, I'd say they are pretty good.

When I read all these excuses that OCUK make, blaming holiday/sales seasons, quite frankily, I call BS, as it's not a problem for any of their competitors.

It's laughable for a tech company to shutdown their phonelines for weeks, along with frequent website issues. When the website is working, they decide to mess about with it and put it under construction, yet never seem to improve anything - I've noticed that a few times.
TBH, it doesn't inspire confidence that OCUK are capable of running a business properly - the OP's experience is a perfect example of why this isn't acceptable to shutdown the phones because you cant cope with the demand, yet are happy to blindly take the money and ghost people with support.
I certainly would dread having to RMA something from OCUK, let alone when their phonelines are down. Just because I could do it online, doesn't mean I want or should have to.

You shouldn't be forced to wait around for replies via emails, let alone if they take hours/days to get a generic response that doesn't help you, again like the OP.

Time is money, a buyer wants the freedom to be able to ring someone, and get the answer/make the order, then and there, in the time that they have spared for it - after all, not everyone can just sit around waiting to answer a callback/email, and more to the point, most people aren't allowed to when at work.

For transparency, I do buy from OCUK, but from a buyer and customer service perspective, they're not even in the same ball park as the Bolton store.

Oh I have had a reply this was regarding a ticket I put out on Saturday 6th asking where my PC was as I was supposed to get it then. Anyway he replied on the 8th so emailed back and he's said he can not do anything because he is part of the sales team, and due to number of product enquiries due to black Friday they're trying to catch up and may take time to respond. Black Friday was 13 days ago! Yeah think I'll be getting my coinage back and going elsewhere.
