I often have a problem with my vidahost sites when accessing from abroad. Most recently Spain, but also Germany, and ISPs in South America. Works most of the time but sometimes I'll just get an error like the servers aren't responding. Yet I'm able to load the site via mobile 3/4g reroute via the UK. I wonder if they have some kind of aggressive filtering.

Thought I'd resurrect the thread as my email forwarding seems to keep failing and Vidahost's support has been rather lacking compared to previous times I've had problems.

Nice of Vidahost to go automatically registering .uk domains for your .co.uk ones free to 2 years and have them set to auto renewal after that.
