Deionised or distilled should be fine
Being tight I flushed mine with
The water out my condenser dryer lol
Didn't seem to hurt them

In my opinion no, not if that's all you're running. Distilled water is pure; DI is not. I'm sure it'll be fine though.

Looks awesome, I really like this new spate of quality, clear acrylic reservoirs. I'll be going for something very traditional and industrial, I'm too much of an old man, but it looks fantastic, especially with that illumination.

I'd also suggest Di not RO.. Save the RO for the aquarium
