In my opinion no, not if that's all you're running. Distilled water is pure; DI is not. I'm sure it'll be fine though.
Looks awesome, I really like this new spate of quality, clear acrylic reservoirs. I'll be going for something very traditional and industrial, I'm too much of an old man, but it looks fantastic, especially with that illumination.
