virgin Atlantic lets male pilots and crew wear skirts to 'express their true identity'

Imagine how airy and comfortable they must feel though:eek:

Also can partake in windmilling at every chance lol.

Who doesn't? I've never known a kilt wearer not be a complete chode, particularly the English ones that claim they're Scottish when they have nothing but the most tenuous link.

Oh ayyyyye, I'm 1/20th Scottish so absolutely must wear a kilt.

You talking about Rod Stewart :)

I find it creepy and it is not natural.
You're going to be horrified if you look into what was considered normal wear about 150 years ago before cheap linen and mass production:)
lets put it this way, a skirt or skirt like thing was much cheaper to make/buy than trousers, and IIRC it was common for both male and female children to wear them until a certain age (I won't even go into the way that pink used to be for boys...IIRC until marketing in the 40's decided otherwise).

Personally, not an issue for me, although it would take a much braver/more stupid person than I to compare a skirt to a kilt as someone has:)

As an english person who grew up in north Scotland, I am aware they are entirely different things. Physically they achieve the same of having no material between your legs, which is what the OP has some irrational fear of.
