Currently paying £48.99 for 100mb Internet, basic TV TIVO package and unlimited weekend calls. Mine is now up for renewal, any chance of me getting the sports thrown in for a small amount extra or am I wasting my time? Retentions or cancellation team to haggle? Thanks.

Glad to hear people got free upgrades from 60 to 100 when I had no choice but to pay to get that, also glad others are having flawless service whilst I'm sitting with...

Not downloaded a thing recently, so no trafficking in place. Direct downloads are also terrible (currently downloading Heroes of the Storm @ 800kb/s).

Funny thing is, the engineers, customer service and even the CEO do **** all to try and sort this, and to top it off even this poor service beats out the other ISPs in my area, Virgin probably know this though so decide to give a customer of 10+ years this sort of treatment because I have no choice.

Brilliant company really, lets be honest.

For sports they'll probably give you BT channels free for a few months then you start paying the proper price. That's the only offer ive ever been able to get from retentions on Sports.

You should be able to get a cheaper price for what you already have though, you're paying full price for the Big Bang bundle with no loyalty discount. Not sure how high the loyalty discounts go but mine are usually £8 off.

Opinons on superhub 2 people? I still have an old superhub 1.

Superhub 2 ac is fast, however it drops out when set to max speeds, so you have to run it slower. Its still fast though and much better than the previous Superhub. (Wont affect you if you dont have 802.11ac devices)

Cheers will give them a ring. No chance of a free internet upgrade then to 152mb? :D

My loyalty discount expired so I phone VM and they re new it but at £1 less than before.
They say this is happening for everyone this year.
Is that so?

Looks like my upgrade to 50mb has gone through, just tested at 54mb down.

I still think I'm paying too much though: weekend calls, line rental and 50mb broadband for £36 a month??

I have 50Mb BB,a 500GB tivo box, basic tv pack and the medium calls pack and it costs £39 a month which I'm beginning to think is a little high

you should have some tv for that, maybe even a tivo box

Still awaiting this 'Supercharge'. Original quote for 152Mbit was end of Feb, then May and now July.

I guess I should be glad that 120Mbit is working properly and fullspeed but I never understand why they over promise and then under deliver.

I consistently only get a range between 5mb and 80mb if i'm lucky when I'm paying for 152mb...

Ended up writing to them to complain when the 'Technical Support' phone number was getting me nowhere over a number of months.

The complaints department replied to the letter saying "Give our Technical support phone number a go". Bunch of idiots.

Just moved into new place and only got wifi devices connected, wasn't on Internet last night but on my graph got the first bit of contention? Did anything happen on the network last night fault wise and would this impact online gaming quite abit?
