I'm asking because the SH3 as a issue with high Latency even if you use your own router with it.
when i had a SH2AC with my own router, my TBQ was just about flat.

Yeah its the SH3, is it worth changing it for something else?
no.. it's just a bug in the firmware. wait till the next update.
Throttling is only at peak times, 4pm to 11pm weekdays and pretty much all day at weekends if i remember right.
ohh i forgot it's only at peak times...
i don't know why i was thinking VM throttles the upload all day / everyday

I'm getting a lot of disconnects during certain times of the day which is no fun when gaming or streaming is this something Virgin can do anything about if i complain?

Is any one else experiencing really slow speeds and connection drops in Manchester? My speed has been really low (2mb) since Friday and it drops all the time. I've been away over the weekend so today is the first time I could call virgin. They "changed some settings" on their end which would be a temporary fix for a known issue in the area that would be fixed by tomorrow morning.
Is anyone else suffering with this? Their website doesn't list the known fault in their network status.

I've been getting connection drops but its not a recent thing and my speed and latency seem fine
When I called earlier the advisor said there were no issues affecting my area
I'm in area 20 if that helps

I have started getting slower download speeds if I am using SSL encryption on port 563, has anyone else noticed this? It only started happening fairly recently. Tried obvious stuff like rebooting the super hub etc to no avail.

Why do they only offer new customers 50Mb 100Mb and 200Mb when most of us are on 150Mb?
