It's their DNS server (at least that's what the problem is right this minute). I changed mine to 9.9.9.9 as a temporary workaround.

Mines still down although it's changed what I can access, suddenly ocuk doesn't work (using my 4G at the minute for this post) and discord no longer works, but I can suddenly use GitHub and twitch chat is working.

No idea what is going on at VM

Our VM circuits died again around 16:20, been fine most of the day otherwise, and the hub at home won't even get a configuration sync

Have VM released any actual information on the outages other than "Whoops, it's down"?

A lot of the outages seem to have hit their stuff too, heard they have internal outages as well.

Likely because they host their service status page from within their main website. A competent company would host a service status page on a 100% separate system that remains up during outages.

Affected me in the north east too. Was off this morning then it was most sites wont load for a hour or two then a bit more normal but its gone back to sites not loading much for the past hour.

Hope they fix it. Wonder if we get a free day compo out of it.
