It does warn you it could take around an hour.
Sounds like there are a fair few problems with it-is it worth upgrading at the moment or not? Will these issues be ironed out?
But when i go to windows update, nothing's there!
If you don’t see it in windows update then read this http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=948343 .
Cause 7
You used the third-party program vLite to configure the system, and you may have removed required system components that have to be available for Windows Vista SP1 to be installed.
as anybody got slow bootup after installing sp1? after installing sp1 on a clean windows installation i notice the bootup time takes longer. also when i first turn my system in the morning it doesn't boot fully in to windows, it gets a blue screen then restarts then it goes in to windows.. i never had this problem with sp1 rc2....
yes im doing that now... but my point is when the system been off over night then turned it on in the morning that when it happened... with the sp1 rc2 this didn't happen...
FYI SP1 through windows update is only 69.4mb
click check for updates a few times then it should show up....Im on Vista business 64 and it still hasn't showed up in WU!!
