can't get epson cx3200 to install

Does the setup program run or is it just denying the drivers?

If it the first on try right clicking and going to properties and running it in XP SP2 compatibility mode, Thats how i got my Razer mouse drivers installed

can someone check this out click the printer icon in ie7 ( just above ) does it print or save? mine saves the only way to print is to drop down the menu.

can someone who can file a bug report please do so if the bug is proven
It's almost certainly because the XPS Document Writer is set as the default printer - which is why it asks you where you want to save the XPS document.

I'm having trouble getting smooth TV playback through the new MC interface.

It's currently fine with my XPMCE installation, so I know it's not a reception issue. But in Vista (5600), it skips every few seconds.

The card is a Nova-T PCI, using the drivers that WU provided.

I've tried the XPMCE drivers, and the same problem exists, I've also tried installing a different MPEG2 decoder (PowerDVD7), but that didn't work either.

Anyone? The only thing I can think of is lack of RAM (512)?

It's not lack of RAM. I think it's a bug - look around on thegreenbutton.com or xpmce.com. It was mentioned in the pre-rc1 builds. Some managed to fix it, but they don't know how.... lots of restarting stuff/services and the like.

having problems installing on my pc.....the dvd boots ok, but when it gets to the first screen where the mouse cursor arrives, the pc just freezes and the screen goes to sleep.

i thought it may be because i had partitioned my hard drive in xp and there wasn;t enough space...but after reinstalling xp with no partions, it still does it.

any ideas?

Yeah I had this problem and quite a lot of people using or trying to get Vista are having the same prob, I managed to resolve it by disabling RAID in my Bios, which cleared it... only after exhausting so mnay different other avenues first....

Anyone having problems viewing a lot of websites. Been like this for the last two builds for me. Its fine if I boot back to XP or use my laptop (using a router). Its doing this in any browser so its not the new IE.

www.skysports.com www.extremetech.com www.tomshardware.com are just a few examples of sites which just wont display.

Bit strange really, cause I'm guessing it must be fine for other people?

Everything's running OK-ish, few problems:

AC97 drivers aren't working. They DID work at one point, but now they don't for some reason. I tried the nForce 4 drivers for the AC97 but still no joy.
EDIT:Having redownloaded what i think are new drivers from the Realtek website, these drivers seem to be more reliable :)

Video Playback in media player, google video, youtube and photo gallery is very choppy, freeze framing often :s Anyone else have this?

System:
AMD 3800+ X2 @ 2.4Ghz
DFI LANParty Ultra D (Onboard sound active)
2Gb Corsair XMS Mem.
ATI Radeon X1800XT

All but the sky sports one is fine here, text overlaps and cutsoff on it.

The other 2 appear fine even after clicking a few links, try posting pics if you still have probs

why is copying files so slow on Vista. Seems to take much long to e.g. copy something over to my flash drive. Its just taken 2+mins to extract a 563Kb winamp skin

Can I just ask, what is the difference between 32-bit and 64-bit? Yes, you need a 64 bit processor to run Vista 64, but apart from that? Speed? Compatibility? Those visual effects?

I seem to have an issue wheres i leave me pc on, go to work and when I return either the damn thing has rebooted itself for no apparent reason or the LCD led is red instaed of blue for signal and the pc is on but doesn't respond....

Bit of a pain but hey hoo we'll see

It probably trying to go into sleep mode and one of the drivers is causing it to crash, check power management in the control panel and tell it not to goto sleep. ;)

This seems to do with the UAC system , go to control panel ,users , and click on box to disable UAC i had same problem , but after i did that , it is fine.
Also on a diff note , i had big problems with BSOD , but after updating my gigabyte mobo bois , it is gone , also games run far better now!

also to increase your hard drive performance , right click on your hard drive in my computer , and disable , index your drive for faster searches , as this will slow your comp down a lot to , my games ar loading in half the time !

How are you burning with RC1, Nero doesn't work, Imgburn does, each time I try to burn using Windows, it won't take my DVD-RW's?

How about any audio drivers for my nforce2?
