Russian Standard on the left, then VERY hard to get hold of Sisu Viina (only in Finland), then Finlandia, then the daddy of them all. :D

I'm quite well versed in the Polish varieties because of the Poles who work for my Mum giving her bottles and bottles of the stuff. There are about 5 different brand in the cupboard at my parents house.

got some russian standard vodka y'day for £11, it was meant to stay in the freezer all night because we we're having a party, and well thats what basics vodka is for :P .. but it was quite nice with some lime... considering i'd usually get a bottle of southern comfort, which costs more than russian standard vodka... i'd be tempted to try the finlandia stuff, and the range that 42 below does looks very interesting...

Russian Standard is £11 at Sainsburys.

Finlandia £11.68 (well worth the 68p imo, bit I am biased, as I am half Finnish. :D).

Again, you have to try Finlandia Grapefruit Fusion. It is incredibly good on its own, or with tonic, or even lemonade. Something about the grapefruit when shooting it from the freezer seems to take away any form of burn.

Both are very good though.

Eristoff is a tenner. Avoid like Smirnoff. :)

Is that for the large bottle or the small one? Sorry I don't know exact sizes :)

I've never rated Grey Goose, especially considering the price of it. I think most people are blinded by the price and assume it must be good. Plus it appears to be a premium spirit that's currently "in" to like :)

Russian Standard as my staple but am partial to Finlandia. Need to find a bottle of Snow Queen, where's the best place to get it?

INfamous - It'll be 70cl, it's often £11 in the supermarkets and you can often find a litre for about £14.

11.68?.. i looked in sainsburys but it was £14.60 ish..

and yes it was 70cl .. i think the 1 litre bottle was £20 for some bizzare reason..

*******. Just had to get smirnoff red from the spar as an emergency.

Asda had smirnoff blue/black on offer and I'd tried that the last few weeks.

Best vodka I've had was Finlandia a while back, was so smooth.

So this snow queen gear is the dogs danglies?

42below is the best vodka I have tasted. Also landlord at a local pub is selling chilled bottles at £10 and doesn't mind you drinking it in the pub, winner!

Russian standard is crap in comparison.
