**WANT 8GB 2400MHz FOR AS LITTLE AS £59.99 Inc. VAT? - THEN CHECK THIS THREAD OUT!!** (MV-3V4G3D/US)

ah that will be it then :)

I do tend to find that if I get bluescreens or bugcheck errors - 99% they are normally related to my memory overclock

currently trying out 2133 @ 9-10-10-25 2T

Is it normal to get stuck at the windows logo if you have pushed things too hard?

Only quickly ran memtest and it completed one cycle without errors. I was getting stuck at the windows logo though. Just loaded optimized settings again and it boots fine. I'll give this another crack tomorrow.

Also how do you get auto back on the v gene timings, without restoring to optimised settings?

^^ funny that - I had exactly same thing at weekend

memtest - fine

windows stuck at logo (so nowhere near stable)

in fact I find just booting windows and running Cinebench a better way of testing the mem stability. That said I do still run memtest to check I'm at least half stable as I don't want a corrupt Windows install

Put each setting in as 0.

Cinebanch is great for Ivy yes. All rendering stuff seem to get to it more than traditional methods.

I posted on that forum and a Gigabyte guy said this -

"Reports on Z77 incompatibilities with this memory have been sent in, keep an eye on this thread for an update once I hear back with BIOS updates"

Quick update on the Samsung memory issue with a GA-Z77X-D3H board......I have got no where with support ticket but a new Bios has been release "F15" which may fix overclocking issue with 16GB or this Ram.....Im just trying to find changelog then will test.

its a case of try it and see, they rarely post what improvements they contain, here seems to be more proof that its working with the samsung memory
