**WANT 8GB 2400MHz FOR AS LITTLE AS £59.99 Inc. VAT? - THEN CHECK THIS THREAD OUT!!** (MV-3V4G3D/US)

for those of you with a Gene V mobo - I was struggling to get 1T stable >2000

tried the medium samsung 2x4gb profile (10-10-10-24-1T) and all great at 2200 1T@ 1.555V, 1.135V VCCIO

My ram come today, £41 bargin!

Just updated to the lastets bios to help thing along. Mobo is Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe.

Set ram to 1.5V, DDR3-2226 is my max boot so far. Everything else is auto

Any advice?

Auto is setting

1133.2Mhz

Hoping postman brings mine tomorrow, great deal on these. Only advice I can give is to try your own timings with 1T and benchmark to see if it's much better for you or not. Shocking how well this stuff OC's considering it's modest specification.

Had a quick play and changed a few things

i7 3770K
Asus P8Z77-I Delux BIOS 607
Stock cooling
300w SFX PSU
W7H
Crucial 128GB SSD
Nvidia GT210

Ram is @ 1.5v 11-11-11-28-1T

I'm happy and have no idea what i'm doing!

Currently running memtest with:
2400mhz 10,11,11,21,1N + some other tweaks at 1.66v

2 passes, no errors so far.

No tried lowering volts or timings much yet. Again, thanks to 8 Pack as this is all his doing!

Samsung medium. Then tune try cas 9 first then TRP 11 and TRCD 11 then Tras 21, TRFC 114 then 96 then bring down LB slowly.

Test at each stage. Also if cas 9 does not work do the next stage then move on etc etc. Cas 10-11-11-21 1T should do 2400 mhz with these tips 1.65v

Before you do this set CKE minimum Pulse width to 6 from auto and DRAM Cas write latency to 8 from auto. These values help a lot with stability but dont really effect perf.

VCCIO 1.10v
VCCSA 1.10v
PLL 1.70
VTTDDR 0.775
