Shooting- Clays, Quarry or Target

Reasonably priced hobby, teaches discipline, focus and a lot of fun imo. Shooting clays can be fun and challenging, if shooting quarry it brings its own challenge and gets you in the great outdoors plus depending what you shoot it can alao bring food to the table (wood pigeon/ rabbit),, also a reasonable amount of shooters also dabble in outdoor photography. Target shooting brings discipline and depending on the ranges facilities and what your police force will grant you, you can shoot anything upto .50cal.

Sidenote.. you can clearly see what my interests are, also the requirements to get a Shotgun cert are faitly low/easy, a firearms cert is a bit more difficult but not a great deal.

If you have been into shooting games then nothing quite beats getting your own AR-15, can get expensive though - it is basically Barbie for men!

I wouldn't quite put it like that lol. Although i do get a semi when im cycling through.38 specials in a winchester rifle!

Im currently in my probation period at my firearms club, once thats done im putting in for a firearms cert. Ive also been shooting at an air rifle club for a year. Whilst both clubs have a lot of banter they are very different and i enjoy both. As a spin off i am now restoring a couple of all rifles in my spare time.

Eventually im going to look for some land to shoot and get out and about at the weekends and evening pigeon shooting or bunny bashing. Some fresh air and sport as well as some meat for the pot.
