You can buy it, test it as much as you like during the closed beta and refund if you don't like it. Closed beta doesn't have the 2 hour limit on refunds.

Played a few hours in the range last night. First time playing and it was amazing being able to tinker and get a feel for how things work without jumping straight into a game. Most of my time spent trying to fly or I should say, trying to stop and land quickly; so many crashes and respawns. I'm thoroughly fed up with the wee run back to the vehicle guy

Flying was interesting, in some ways it's great but it was so easy to overcorrect and be unrecoverable. I settled on keyboard with mouse flying, mouse controlling the pitch/roll and A, D for roll. W, S for the collective. Will be great if/when we can combine stick/pedals and kb&m.

I need to try remapping the K&M heli controls. I tried it last night in the firing range and failed epicly, then moved to controller and was marginally better. I think I just need to get used to the weight and not overcorrecting. Will try your mappings later today.

Had so much fun last night sniping.... Got up the top of a huge crane and just spotting and sniping for days.... So satisfying... Wardogs has great potential if they manage the economy side of things well. Needs tweaked as it's currently too easy to make money.

Haven’t even scratched the surface yet but this is great so far!

Taking me back to what BF2 used to be like but a little less fast paced and more depth, BF6 devs take note!!!!

I got in too , i requested access when first announced so its good to finally try before buying.

Thoughts so far:

Excellent performance while looking pretty good.
Its literally KOTH from arma reforger but annoyingly the distance from your base to hotzone is a good bit longer than KOTH.
As mentioned the revive incentive is great even more so than KOTH.
Gunplay and combat is decent.
I had a lot of fun transporting troops from base to combat zone but i can see longterm it will become very tedious.

Im playing solo and i must admit there is not enough action for me and i feel the distance to the combat zone is a big factor here.
With a squad of friends i can see it being an absolute blast and a real long term game.

Overall a very good experience but as i say a bit more action and id be fully sold.

TIP: give yourself time flying choppers and especially landing them in the firing range area, i spent an hour atleast and so far all 9 drop off adventures ive done so far were successful but flying is very hard at first.

With a squad of friends i can see it being an absolute blast and a real long term game.

I'm on the fence with this game but I too play most of my games solo. I have 1 person who I occasionally play with, so this would be a real worry for me. I think for the time being I'm going to stick to Battlefield 6 and see reviews after it releases to EA.

Ive played 10 hours now solo, its not really an issue.
Just like Hel Let Loose or similar games most are on comms and want teamplay so most squads i joined are actually playing/chatting as a squad and doing the whole teamplay thing.
Im definitely going to buy now after been on the fence before i gave it a good go.
Im so impressed to be fair, its clear the devs are gamers.

Stuck 20 hours into this over the two betas, and gagging to play more.

I thought the gun play was a bit basic/sloppy at first, but after levelling up some of the assault rifles I thought it was really good.

Once you have some attachments for the AK it’s a machine!

I played during past test weekends, it reset though (so now grinding up a few levels again) the better guns should make a difference.

My challenge is that once i've kitted out a gun, got a decent amount of bandages and ammo, my loadout is worth 7k. If i then go on a death streak i suddenly lose 20-30k and it hurts.... haha. All part of the game though!

Really enjoying it so far. A nice change from BF6 and Insurgency Sandstorm for me. I never quite got into Squad or Arma.
