Game over. There is 1 more tiny stack moving around but it will try to turtle on their city at West. Just take out the south city and by the time you arrive to their town, you will have a full stack to their half.

I updated my graphics drivers and now the game doesn't work, it crashed when continuing campaign, saying it's out of memory. Tried rolling back the drivers and it's still the same...

I don't mean that first little town. I mean the whole faction. They have two massive armies and just keep owning me regardless. They raid my two towns over and over so I can't even recruit anything after I respawn.

By the sound of it I think you need to restart, you can finish off the rebels in Reiksland within 6 or 7 turns they should not have enough time to build anywhere near that amount of units if you are on the attack from the first turn.
Turn 1 attack unit on boarder to east of start town (edit - after the battle move back just inside your boarder & recruit 3 swordsman)
Turn 2 take town (can't recall the names)
Turn 3 move South west
Turn 4 either take town in mountain pass (if you don't mind fighting at a slight numbers disadvantage) or move to take the town in the east & come back for the town in mountain pass.
You should be able to take the province within 6-7 turns easily.

True I have done that and by turn 12 had clear our the western province and started dealing with the dwarves attack from the south.
However it only works if the Lord is Karl Franz.
The wizard one needs to wait the first turn to build 3 swordmen because he only has 2 line infantry and he is a caster, getting his bottom kicked in melee

I couldn't help having a play last night as Dwarves and am now suffering today as a result... seems nice so far, still learning things but Dwarves seem a decent learning curve although I did get my ass handed to me by an Orc stack heh. Will restart and use what I learned.

I have not tried it with Karl Franz but I have started twice with the wizard and both time the first battle is still easy.

Just make use of what you have. You have the out riders and the mortar and the wizard can still do a lot of damage.

The turn pattern above works just as well for Karl or Gelt.

Agreed, you should attack as quickly as possible early game, every turn you wait is a turn they will be recruiting thus no advantage is gained by waiting.

Not sure, don't think they've told us. Expecting it to be £4.99 - £6.99 though based on previous games and how much they want to gouge. I'd be really surprised if it's more than that.

Are there any guides for this?
I'm at a complete loss of what to do once I get to the map. I have 1 army encircling a town, but it's been doing that for several turns.

Yes you'll get a graphic in the top left stating it's enabled. In addition scroll lock toggles the effect. Did you follow the instructions here: https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/5639/

The vampires are brilliant, just for the sound effects alone.

Yeah, sorted it. I was expecting the scroll lock option to work but had used the wrong version originally.

EDIT: You may want to change the link in that description as it links to a different download. It would save some confusion if it linked directly to the correct pack.
