Warner R4 - Creative Design input required!

That was me indeed! Amazing how far it's come since those beginnings! R4 is still getting the miles piled on

Currently building the prototype which will go on sale in 2012 :)

New website just gone up: www.warnercars.com

Details of the RX are needed!

How much will I have to save, and what will it buy me? :D

Is there a detailed write-up of the RX's development/build on its way?

The design of the RX is still under wraps - don't need anyone copying it before it's ready!

Turnkey price is likely to be in the region of 20k as it's a far more grown up car - blistering performance, an active aero package, carbon bodywork, enclosed cockpit and full telemetry datalogging!

Has is been difficult to get the required attention with the car Cloudy?

Someone to invest in it etc, places to build them?

I had some interest last year from a UK manufacturer of bike powered off road buggies - but they had too much on their plate to diversify and nothing came of it in the end. Eventually I decided to set up on my own and it's taken this long to build the modest workshop/cnc mill, get the contacts for various outsourced parts and complete the design work. Probably dragon's den style investment would have got me there quicker! At least this way I have total control over the product :)

In terms of interest in the car, that's been the easy part! Regular emails asking for purchase details, magazine reviews and positive comments have really spurred me on to get this to market, without them I probably wouldn't have started down this path

Awesome :) Fair play to you!

Any chance of some more info on the setup you're running with regards to workshop area and workers etc? It's of no use to me. Just rather interested in how you're going about this :D I can see it taking off big time! (Not literally.. I'm sure you've worked the aero out :p)

Luckily my sister is a wind tunnel operator, should have no issues there :)

I have capacity to build two cars in parallel, at a rate of about 2 a month. There are 2 3rd parties involved in making critical parts, a chap working freelance for me for CAD/CAM and the rest will be done by myself and my partner (she's already in high end car sales) If it takes off, i'll quickly be ramping that up...

Wow, sounds like you have really got everything lined up for this to be successful for you. I really hope it is. Keep us all informed :)
