I don't think you and this girl were a great match to be fair, with girls I've liked I can never recall me being irritated by them on the first date, just move on. Maybe you did make some mistakes that you can learn from but it's no great loss since you weren't a good match anyway

OP, try and look at the situation objectively. You sensed she wasn't that interested in you, which should have given you a disappointed but ok attitude. Instead you tried to box her in for a second date based on your insecurity. The moment she mildly resisted it you fly off the handle saying why doesn't she say shes not interested etc.
Ask yourself this, why was it so important she confirmed either way? You had your original sense of how things were going. Why was you eager to have a second date with someone who put very little in to conversing with you?
You should have had the attitude, "win some lose some". At the risk of being ironic about the site name... there are literally plenty more fish in the sea!

Just forget it and move on, simple as that, even the creation of this thread sets a precedent for failure in relationships, stop questioning yourself, live your life the best you can, realise that your worth more than this, she doesn't want a second date, her loss, simple, it's not worth wasting your life energy on stuff like this.
