This sounds pretty interesting. Might have to give it a go as an alternative to DayZ, which I've stopped playing lately because the last four or five deaths have been spawning, finding a decent weapon, going to a town and either getting instantly killed by someone with an AS50, or killing someone with an AS50, then seeing them come back with another AS50 and a ghillie suit moments later...

Yeah. F that.

That's a cool idea actually, would make the power-grid actually useful.

Try flipping the circuit breakers to cherno/Elektro and using the M110 NV sniper to spot people using flashlights and headlights to navigate around, you become a ninja assassin.

How about a team respawn point for opfor and blufor.

Basically just an.object of sorts that is designated, you would still have to find it though.

I'll leave that idea for future build, let me get the stuff I am working on working properly.

Cool idea, could take it to a base that is created, allowing all of the team to spawn there :]

Would it be possible to add spawn beacons to the gun shop for a hefty price?

No point as there are loads of spawn beacons dotted around the area.

Might even remove the gun shops all together if the spawn in building system.works properly.

Just get a real one and empty all the stuff out into several large vehicles!

Marker, would it be possible to have a "fake" gear cache where you can place a satchel charge/IED in/on/under it and as someone goes to open up the gear or make any activity with it it explodes?

the only problem with that afghan is that people may just kill you and take your guns from you :L

Although it is a pretty cool idea , I also finally got the javelin working so I will be having some fun with that next chance I get.

My original plan was to do it in a gun store as it is a no fire zone...

$1000 and you can take whatever you like from the cache, including satchels/mines/IEDs/rpg's or whatever I have at the time.

Surely it would be tempting for a new spawn to just come in and be fully geared up?

Don't pay and bad things will happen and I have the perfect way of doing this without breaking any server rules.
