Watch Dogs

If anyone ordered from Tesco it seems they failed to take into account the bank holiday and only dispatched the games yesterday. One of the chaps on my facebook is saying that they will not be processed until Tuesday by Royal mail at the earliest.

Hopefully this is not true. :(

I got on email on Friday that said it would dispatched on Friday for delivery on Tuesday:

You’re order will be dispatched today for delivery on the release date, Tuesday 27th May and once this has been received you will be enter you’re Tesco Exclusive code.

Got another email on Sunday to say it had been officially shipped. No tracking details, but people who preordered other games have said Tesco quite often send shipping emails even when the game has been delivered.

I think it should come tomorrow.

The PS4 version looks just like the version on the right in this video. It's not bad looking but not a patch on what UBi shown at E3 2012.

i think what ubi showed back then was a pc running ultra settings.

ps4 is basically running high settings so it's still good but not as good as what a £2000 PC can do basically.

Some footage has been shown of a PC on ultra at the same place and time of day as the original E3 2012 footage. Both look very similar.

Ubi obviously were very selective about the time of day and weather when demoing the game. The game looks great when its raining and slightly dull, really nice lighting effects.

Re; Tesco, I got an email yesterday to say it has been dispatched and will be with me by or before the 30th.

Both look ok to me, left looks darker but the PS4 footage isn't ugly. I think some folks just expect too much at times... Now, what if the game reviews well and its noted for being a lot of fun with an epic campaign? But, the graphics are noted for being a little light in places, will this stop you enjoying the game?

They say games can be a form of art, I don't know. I tend to enjoy games for what they are sometimes, sure graphics are great but sometimes, I just enjoy to play Mario Kart which lets face it - today that game is no looker but wow lot of fun.!! : - )

Well, it's been confirmed by Jonathan Morin (Creative Director of Watch Dogs) that yes, 3 GBs of VRAM is limiting 780s/Tis (perhaps also 79xx/280 cards) in this game.

Lol. Delicious.

Cannot wait for these PC people to eat crow when their world crumbles with true next gen games destroying their systems.

No need to eat crow, just upgrade graphics cards. Better than waiting 5 years for the next round of consoles:o;)

do you have one of those £800-£900 graphics cards, the developers say you need a titan to run it on ultra
no they don't. they say a £400 gtx 780 is recommended for ultra, 60fps at 1080

so much nonsense being stated in this thread right now. like next gen console games destroying gaming rigs :D:D what a joke

Well considering they just said a 780 ain't gonna cut it.......I see I upset the master race with my comment.

Tell you what, keep your gaming the rig the same as it is now for the duration of this generation and then let's compare performance, deal?

Lets leave the PC stuff out of this thread - just not worth an argument - Im sure it will bite people on the ass in the future with oneupmanship...

ps3ud0

and why would I use the same hardware for 10 years? that's just stupid. my hardware is already years old and out powers the ps4/x1 while costing me around £600. If I want to upgrade to keep playing games at 60fps and 1080 or 4k in the future I will. That's a choice I have and consoles will never have
