Watch Dogs

It really is. The physics and total inconsistent damage to cars, as well as the controlling of the cars make the entire experience of driving awful.

Hey I have Watch Dogs on PC and had nothing but hassle was on Act 4 loving the game running fairly playable on my rig all High Settings only FXAA so it doesn't crash or lag out as much, well recently Uplay cloud service lost my save game so I had to start all over again so unmotivated and p***ed off but I was going to stick to the story until I was at Act 4 then do all the side missions and ctOS centres etc. although it does keep crashing every hour I had to do a fresh install of windows since it corrupted it with the amount of crashes or whatever. Even browsing on the internet leads to a BSOD :/ could it just be the game or my computer that is completely unstable even though every clock setting is back to default after the fresh install really stumped when it comes to these situations could be both the game and my computer

Your sig is too big chrissyburns.

I'm not sure, I know the game has had problems on PC, try posting in the PC thread for Watch_Dogs.

It might be as simple as something is over heating, could always ask in the hardware forum too :).

I always disable uplay cloud saves as it not very stable. As for the game causing damage to your PC no offense meant but I very much doubt it. More likely an underlying problem IMHO.

The driving is ******* terrible on PlayStation 4. Controller or keyboard, PC or console. The driving is awful.

In your opinion maybe, I think it's fine and can't understand why people are moaning. It's a lot better than the driving in GTA in my opinion but that seemed to be acceptable.

I thought the driving in Grand Theft Auto IV was really, really good (aside from bikes in the expansion packs) and in Grand Theft Auto V while it took a little getting used to, was brilliant. However that also took in to account fairly ~consistent~ physicals, impacts and damage.

I just do not get on with this driving, the physics, impacts and damage are all terrible (in my opinion of course, not that people actually take what I say as gospel, I take everyone's posts as being opinion like as a conversation).

Did my first challenge on the ctos mobile thing. Seems that it's very hard to win when pipes get blown underneath you, a helicopter shoots you and the police ramming you.

I'm getting better at driving now, just some cars seem to swing around like hell, really hard to get them under control. I prefer the motorbikes, but you don't get much protection!

Still having trouble avoiding the police but I've discovered the jam coms gadget stops those scans! I only did the story mission where it tells you last night :).

LA Noire. That is what I'd describe as an awful driving model for a game of this kind. The cars turned like they were on rails, there was barely any difference in the handling of different models - strange considering it was a Rockstar product, but it had a very troubled development and I think the wizards at North got hold of it too late.

Watch Dogs driving is lifeless at low speeds, but the essential things are there - being able to floor the throttle in a RWD car while turning from a standstill to do a quick 180. J-turns work nicely in front-wheel drive cars and cars with a high centre of mavity. Handbraking round 90-degree bends works as expected. There is even a nice 4WD supercar that feels very different to the RWD ones. The grip varies nicely as the streets get wet. Sliding a car at very high speed results in a massive skid that demonstrates there is some real weight to the cars and feels pretty realistic - it's a shame this isn't apparent at low speed.

It's not as good as GTA (where there is more sense of weight at low speed thanks to the exaggerated suspension travel), but it's far from awful. The damage is poor though.

Ok I bought the season pass but never checked for it, hopefully its in one of my hide outs, so its UK and US then, and not a Pre-order bonus?

I bought the season pass after I got the game.

Finally got the hang of online hacking 1v1. I can see how people will get to 90%+ and be caught, that circle you have to sit in becomes tiny! I ended up just crouching behind a box in the middle of the area and switching around each corner of that box when my adversary came to pass it. He never saw me, which was quite fun.

E: Here we go, made my 1st sharefactory vid of it :) He nearly got away at the start and found me at the end

LOL, did the guy not think at the end why there was a car stopped in the middle of the road? :D

Although the car didn't move again after he was the one who stopped it. Well played
