Watercooled Case Gallery

I've literally just taken the metal part off and used a small dab of clear glue to hold the acrylic light bars in place. Completely reversible without any residue too!

Think it looks fantastic and beats the original look.

I wasn't aware of anyone else doing it before, I had a good look anyway lol.

The bitspower block I got from a forum member who really looked after the block as it was like brand new when I received it! He had it imported from the US I believe as I haven't seen anywhere in the UK that sells them.

Happy Christmas to you all. :)
After many months of reading up on these forums I've finished my first custom loop just in time for Christmas. Trouble free build thanks to all the advice and tips. Thanks Guys.

I see that Force 3 SSD and GSkill RAM I sold you over in AVF :D
I also see a kink on the tubing that goes from the front rad to the pump, might need an extender/90 degree on that.

yes brought from you but only 2 sticks of the gskill as all ready had 2 sticks :D

there is a small kink which has only just happen i will get a 90 degree fitting and some more tubing as tubes are tight

My first go! Any suggestions? Will post more pics with the rest of the system in and cables all tidied up after leak test. Planning to add GPU loop in the future as well. I tried to get the block out port to go to the rad but since it was a crossflow radiator and unfortunately the port was at the back and not the front it was too tight and made the tube kink; couldn't find a way around that so I'll settle with this for now!

Was definitely a challenge to say the least - I thought I'd have a load of room with the tube res instead of bay in the Luxe, but there's a lot less room than I thought when you factor that in (have to run my gpu in x8 slot atm since bottom of pump hits the pcb for the card if I run it in x16)

Can you not remove all the metal work in the front to give yourself more room or change the res so its not connected to the pump?

Also I dont really know the case but is there no room in the very bottom of the case for a pump?

There is space for a pump mount but it means removing the psu shroud which means sacrificing aesthetics; something I'm not too keen on. The reservoir is also a top res and therefore needs to be attached to a D5 pump. I also ordered it without the front cover and there doesn't seem to be anywhere that sells the cover on its own. As far as the metal is concerned, I don't think you can remove all of that - only the two hard drive cages which come with the case (which I've already done). I ordered the pump and the reservoir together so that I could make it look as aesthetically pleasing as possible, otherwise I would've gone for a bay reservoir. what's the point in even having a tube res if you're going to have it hidden? I don't mind too much about running my gpu in x8 slot since it's not exactly a huge performance decrease, but I'll be upgrading to two shorter cards in the near future anyway when I'll also be watercooling them at the same time.

So all the frame work in the front of the case is not been used at all? Personally would remove it giving you plenty of room for mounting your pump and res while opening up opportunity to fit another rad in the front. Along with not having to worry about the length of cards.

Is it not just riveted in?

Just an idea from the one photo you have posted, seems like lots of wasted space that could be put to good use.

Nope, not at all. Like I said though I don't think the actual metal frame can be removed and if it could be it would be exposing cables. The front of the case will be used for a 240mm radiator in a couple of months time when I purchase new GPUs and add them to the loop also. And like I said I'd rather not sacrifice the aesthetics that the pump/res give by hiding them away, or else I would've gotten a bay reservoir. There'd also be nothing to mount them to other than the very bottom of the case which as I said is occupied by the psu shroud. The case comes with a reservoir bracket which is screwed in to the hard drive cage and the metal frame infront of the res.
