Watercooled Case Gallery

Hi guys

Been a long time since I've been in the loop (srsly? :D) and I've noticed it's moved on a fair amount!

My x79 build has largely remained unchanged for several years.

Seen SLI 780 lightnings, SLI 970, then 1 970, all under water then when I spilled a mug of tea and killed the last WC card I just put in an aircooled vega 56 due to lack of interest tbh.

Now with Big Navi and the new Ryzen chips I've regained my mojo. Playing a lot more nowadays too.

I've never really been in love with my Phanteks case, but I bought two 480mm rads which I am reluctant to downsize so I either need to find some inspiring pics using the Enthoo Primo or scratch the wall-build itch.

Things I've decided from flicking through this gallery.
  • Will be using 14/10 PETG hardline (first timer)
  • Don't like the look of the distro plates, much prefer some interest created by the hardline runs
  • CPU and GPU to be cooled
  • I think bends look far better than fittings, appreciate it's not always that simple though.
  • Both 480mm x 60mm rads are staying
  • D5 with a 250mm tube res.

Think that's all :D

PS I'll upload a current pic when Imgur is back online

It's a Bykski one, i have both versions installed. One which is flow only and the other is flow and temp.

I really like the look of that, serious question.
How relevant is flow rate in your experience?
I can see no tangible difference in temps between speed 1 or 5 on my D5. All I am interested in is that there is some flow.
That said, I am keen to hear if you've experimented.

Latest project.. Will be wall mounted, just need to leak test and wait for my proper coolant to arrive :D going to get a small lcd screen to display temps etc in the gap to the right of the board.might dremel off the end of the gpu mount so it goes flush

that parallel flow ... at first i was like .. :O
then I noticed the tubbing coming out behind the gpu

Ha yeah, I slightly changed it, I really need to clean the gpu block, I have a spare d5 pump too so might change it to my d5 pump/res.

Need my cable extentions and still going to mount a screen next to the board, just haven't had the time!

Hate the colour of the fluid through the gpu block too :( it's should look like irn bru like it does in the tubing and cpu block! Looks so murky where it needs a good clean inside.

Psu : Asus rog Thor 1200w platinum

16mm acrylic tubing

Fantastic colour setup. How did you get it so separated? Looks like each individual tube has a colour!

Edit: ahhhhh I see two loops. It looks fantastic.
It's a dual loop system. The cpu and gpu bother have their own setups for easy interchangeability when i swap components out.

Cpu loop is running EK Laguna yellow
Gpu loop is running a mix of EK Azure blue and Neon green to make turquoise. The combination makes a really good contrast between all the colours without being overwhelming and confusing.

O11D with a thick 55m bottom rad and a vertical gpu mount.

@Jay85 Its so beautiful its a work of art mate. :)

Heres mine in the garage having a quick clean. Upgraded all fans to "Be Quite" Silent Wings 2 140mm on the front rad and the rest are all Shadow Wings 2 140mm. Fantastic low noise fans. They all run whisper quite and cool really well.

All fans connected directly to the Lamptron FC2.

Big upgrade incoming - Ryzen 9 5900x - Asus Strix X570-E with Monoblock - Heat Killer Chipset water block - AMD 6800/6900XT with waterblock :)

Had a little update on my Lian Li xl - ditched the Bykski distro plate in favour of the EK D5 front distro plate for the Lian li XL and got a EK velocity cpu waterblock. I also ditched the vertical gpu in favour of clean runs (btw @Jay85 thanks for the tip regarding the gpu mount).

I need both of these.

Stunning. Only been throught he last few man sized pages but these are stunning.

Never really considered a full system. I have a AIO. But these may (probably will) sway me..

I've updated mine once again..

I need to actually include the GPU into the loop. Watch this space :D .

*Update*

Thanks mate - it's a labour of love building my rig. I've since changed a few things on it - gone for chrome copper tubing and sold my x570 taichi and bought the x570 asus hero. I also bought 32gb silver royal Z. Just need to get rid of the gtx 1080 and buy a 6800xt, though will wait until waterblocks are ready :).

Thanks mate, honestly watercooled loops are so satisfying to do. It's very therapeutic for me, keeps me calm and keeps me busy at the same time.
