Watercooled Case Gallery

Ahh damn its a different socket :( Love the orange and trying to get a system looking similiar to this but really struggling on the parts :(

also what fans are they?

Nice orange and black build. I'm expecting some funds soon and was contemplating watercooling my sig-rig. If I did I'd be painting my Akasa Vipers orange, braiding cables black/orange and would hopefully be using Mayhem's Pastel Orange coolant.

Shame there's no 1155 orange and black themed motherboards. I do have another rig, i7 920 D0 but I have the Asus P6X58D-E. I could switch my 2600k for the 920 as my main rig but couldn't justify spending roughly £250 just to have a black and orange motherboard when I don't require any of the other features it provides. :p

Would be very nice to see more orange and black components enter the market!

There are some real works of art in this thread - one day I'll have something like that hopefully :)

Anyway, I've just completed my first watercooling build and leak tested it for 12hrs, it's not up to the standard of other builds in this thread but I'm happy with it:

I've still got to secure the pump in place, the padding was just there for testing to stop the drone of the pump resonating through the case!

I think I'll be rebuilding it in the future to use compression fittings instead and maybe some thicker walled tubing as the 1/2" ID, 5/8" OD kinks very easy.

The full specs are:

EK Supreme HF (Copper Plexi)
EK DCP 4.0 Pump/Res Combo
XSPC EX240
2x Scythe GT 1450rpm
OcUK 1/2" Shiny Silver Barbs
Masterkleer 1/2" ID, 5/8 OD Clear Tubing
PrimoChill Hoseclips
Mayhems Pastel Ice White

Temps running a 2500K @ 4.6GHz (1.38v) haven't jumped above 52 degrees on all cores - very happy considering my H50 was hitting 70 degrees sometimes!

Here's my new HTPC

Case: Silverstone Grandia 05B
MB: Asus Maximus IV Gene-Z
Res: EK X2 150 Advanced
CPU: i7-2700K
WB: EK Supreme HF (copper Plexi)
RAD: EKWB 240
PUMP: D5 Vario & EK Top
RAM: 2 x 2GB Xmms corsair

A bit of modding was required, cut the 120mm fan grills out and cut out spaces for the rad barb fittings. I used the silverstone fans that came with the case to cool the Rad, just turned them around as they were intake fans.

Had to keep the tubing low in order to get the DVD drive in.

Not much room but everything in place and nothing compromised :)

Here is the inside of my Bitfenix Shinobi. My first ever step into WC so will happily take any advice. I have a couple of fans for the instide of the radiator on order as i type this.
