I think the real reason is that Ashley Cole isnt playing, so he didnt want to risk it happening again whilst he was away :D

I agree in an ideal world Terry should have been axed from the squad, he survived purely because we'd be a worse team without him.

If the shoe had been on the foot I dare say the outcome would have been very different, we should take the moral high ground and not decide based on a game of Top Trumps.
 
For bridge to have done this, clearly it did divide the dressing room and it was right to remove Terry as captain.

Brave move by Bridge, especially as it looked like he would feature in this world cup.

£10 says JT gets injured and doesn't make the world cup.

I think we will struggle more not having bridge with cole injured than we would with Terry out.

Can only hope although it would seriously dent Englands slim chances at the World Cup but him getting injured would be a bit of karma for the scumbag....other than losing the captains armband, hes come out of this pretty well ie managed to keep his wife and kids.

Yes, and he also plays with a lot of sub-par players, whereas at an international level the standards are higher all round in terms of ability.

I mean't thats where the anguish sits. Bridge and the lass had split up, Terry banged her and now Bridge and Perroncel are going to be even less friendly than they were when they were separated and presumably in shared custody. Kids gonna be in the middle of it.

Suck it up and don't let some **** ruin your international career. I'm pretty confident even if Terry had lost his wife during all this (she should have walked imo but hey) he would play on. He might not of been the player he was, but at least he'd try.

And the long injury and BAE's also increasingly good form until his injury had nothing to do with him being out of the team?

You're only as good as your last game.

If you think he's atrocious you really can't see past those at Chelsea.
 
Terry is the problem, not Bridge.

We can replace Terry, infact he wouldn't be my first choice at international level.

It's such a shame King / Woodgate are always injured.

You only have to look at his record that only recently came to an end. How long did it take Bale to win a game at Spurs?

Yes players get better and as I said, he's playing well, but that doesn't justify why I can't claim he's a poor player.

See past those at Chelsea? I'm not a fan of lots of players in the Chelsea squad.

she did. She ran off to Dubai remember and he ran after her. Fair play to Bridge for falling on his sword. If Terry wasn't such a greedy **** he might have done the honourable thing.
