They are really sub standard tonight..
Every time I start to get optimistic, this happens lol.
We're not a top 4 side, not yet. Me and my Dad would be happy with 5th this year, even 6th.

villa have been very poor tonight. theyve been due a defeat though, scraped through a few games. fair play to newcastle. got themselves organised and got the job done. amazing how fast the table can change.

huge win for us tonight, was dancing round the room at 2-0
Very lucky and I think it all goes back to the gabby miss in the first half
If that had gone in it would have been curtains
We defended well but villa still threatened to tear us to shreads
That said, it's nice to have a bit of luck, big few games next against fulham and wigan. 4 points from those games and we will be looking at a midtable safe position
