Weekend Football; 20-22nd December - *SPOiLERS*

Neither was a booking, I hate Arsenal almost as much as i hate liverpool, but I have to say that they were very harshly treated by the referee with those two yellows.

How wasn't the 2nd a booking? He went in studs up, way over the top of the ball and if that wasn't enough he also led with his arm and cracked Arbeloa on the chin. May not have been any intent but it was clearly a dangerous challenge.

what an odd game, I expected liverpool to tonk arsenal from how woeful arsenals defence were early on but the sending off really seemed to effect liverpools performance. I wouldn't even say Arsenal improved just that liverpool lost all their rhythm and tempo.

Oh and i can definitely see a case for the red to be fair, though whether Webb gave the second yellow because of the foot or the trailing arm i guess we'll never know. His general performance though i think was very poor, much as it has been all season sadly.

Don't think i've ever seen an Arsenal team dominated in that fashion for a long, long time.

Up until the sending off of course - the siege mentality came through from Arsenal, showed great spirit

Er no he shielded the ball away and he hardly "cracked" him didn't he..(the way he went down I think he could have fooled us all).

See my edit. Regardless of his intentions it was still a dangerous challenge. Arca was only trying to shield the ball and nearly broke Johnson's leg.

Before the game I'd have been happy with a point, after it I'm left kind of disappointed we never left with all three.

The red card worked out better for Arsenal considering how the game was going before hand, after it you played far far better.

consistent run of games without loss by arsenal now, they're becoming unbeatable. pfff Keane will not fluke another goal like that:p. Arsenal to win the league:D

according to Sky analysis both were bookings

Not that it makes it stone wall but the two challenges were bookings. Keane went over the ball in his tackle against Clichy and was booked for it.

Adebayor has hung his foot out at such an angle that it's an ankle breaker on connection (whether he's shielding the ball or not) and he's been booked for it.

Don't really know why it's causing such an uproar anyway, Arsenal played better without him.

Dunno why all the reports are saying Spurs deserved at least a point blah blah blah. We were the better team in both halves and before Modric scored looked like we were gonna win 3-0 or something. They had the odd counter attack but didn't even test Given.

Still, you come to accept that from the sycophantic London press.

Shame we didn't go for it after they had the sending off, but still, im pretty happy with a draw, and were doing better than we have been for years. :)

Webb needs a slap, silly little man!

Not a bad result considering, glad that horrible little scouser with no forehead didn't score!

How bad is Diaby? Constantly gave the ball away, would have prefered to have Ramsey or Vela on to break with pace.

Gutted for Fabby, just out luck :(
