Weekend Football; 31st -1st - *SPOiLERS*

If anyone wins today - I guess it depends if they can then go on a run of wins while going about the FA Cup and CL business (as neither club has the quality in depth all over the pitch compared to Utd), neither team are in that much danger of losing CL place and that may well be a higher priority when push comes to shove to one of either two clubs

Of course Utd also have an extra game coming up (CC Final) and before that a bogey game in West Ham away which may allow the league to look completely different in the next four weeks or so

edit - of course Liverpool have the FA Cup replay also, but no one is playing league games on the same night, which is what I was meaning

He's not a winger, He's a striker who never seems to score.
He's only in the Liverpool squad because they have nobody else who can play on the right wing / side of midfield.
Putting Gerrard out there with Keane just behind Torres would make more sense then playing Kuyt.
 
Good to see that Taylors dive was highlighted by the Sky Sports team.. and the pubdits bioth disagreed.

Why not use the linesman?? The ref had a good game other than that tho.

I said I would take a point prior to the game and I'm hapopy with it.

But to loose to a dive from Taylor.. the player I dislike the most in the while NCL squad.. actually makes me feel violently sick with rage.

(Sunderland fan here...)

It's the only useful thing he's done for Newcastle all season
 
Taylor's dive was poor.
(so much for foreign players diving eh!)

I think the linesman didn't flag for diving because he won't have being told to flag for fouls. Just stick to offsides.
Happens down at Hillsborough a lot, you can clearly see the Linesman has being told to "only" flag for offside / balls out of play.
 
Mike Riley isn't a good ref, He's always poor with his decision making.
A lot of the Premiership Refs aren't good enough.
They let too many things go unpunished.
