Can't believe the state of this. :mad:

It would be nice if Ameobi had actually turned up and Jonas couldn't put a decent ball into the box if his life depended on it. Despite all the fancy foot work we're not getting the basics right. I was quite impressed by the back four until the goal. Just hope we can pull one back in the second half.

Some great players and Newcastle that want to play football, shame that Ameobi is not one of them, never have I seen a more lazier player with no touch and awful shooting.

Decent game better than last weeks derby.

Berbatov is much lazier, in fact i dont think i have ever seen him run - difference is his technical ability is world class so can get away with it.

Ameobi is dump, always has been - Caroll is playing quite well though, does well in the air :)

He can run when he wants to.
 
No surprises with the Liverpool team. Would've liked Yossi instead of Kuyt but 8 games without a goal or assist can't be overlooked :rolleyes:

Question for 'Pool fans, what do you make of Rafa's handling of Robbie Keane ?

I find it poor to say the least. Is he one of Parry's signings or one of Rafa's ?? I can't see it being Parry as he is never going to be a shirt seller

no different to fergusons handling of tevez in Baz's opinion :)
 
Newcastle were bloody awful ! :D
They are a club with serious problems on and off the pitch, And I hated the way Sky make out that Newcastle somehow have "better" fans then other clubs, and how Newcastle are a "big club".

There's a couple of differences there though. Tevez is of less importance as they don't own him. Plus Berbatov needed time to settle.

You can see the contrasts between Berbatov and Tevez. Taggart stood by Berbatov, Rafa hasn't with Keane. You can clearly see the difference.
 
Sheer workrate.

His stats aren't that bad really, 5 goals and 4 assists this season I think it said earlier. Far higher than I thought they would be.

I can't see past a Liverpool win today, which is a shame cos I don't think they'll overhaul manyoo.
