Weekend Football **SPOILERS** 4-5 April

5 mins of injury time... where did he pull that from?

Fair play though, they deserved nothing and still won - Man U's title.

It's as the old saying goes isn't it, if you can play badly and win... you'll do well! United probably didn't deserve to win based on the play, but that goal was worthy of winning any game.

Great game for the neutral that, grinding out the results when not playing well is what the top sides do best.

Still all too play for in the league though reckon there are plenty more twists and turns in store.

The gooners could decide the fate of the title they've got both the top 2 still to play and are running into good form.

Speaking as a Liverpool fan, I have to say that was a fantastic goal by Macheda. Looks like a promising young talent.

Knew that 3rd goal was coming, unlike some utd fans around here I did believe utd would win again this season ;) .Was all Utd towards the end of the game and I felt it was only a matter of time.

Well won Utd, the race goes on !

Abonglahor was down for ages after he scored his goal and Barry spent a lot of time down injured after his foot was trodden on. Then there is the usual time allowed for substitutions. The 5mins were perfectly reasonable

I agree, I think the team who have the biggest say in where the title is going this year is actually Arsenal. Arsenal still have to play Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea yet.

not sure where 5 mins came from but they scored well within it. Frankly prefer to see Utd win the title than Pool, they were awful for LONG spells today, injuries not helping. They've been a different side when they play with Tevez, the word for it is utter crap. ALWAYS has his back to goal, rarely shoots, rarely runs beyond the defence, rarely does anything except ping the ball straight back to midfield or foul someone.

Giggs, Evans, Tevez, Fletcher, Carrick were between crap and utterly horrific.

Macheda looked very good from the second he came on, fighting for the ball, suddenly Man U had someone who ran beyond the defence to play the ball through to, so important as suddenly the whole defence is on the back foot and not in control, especially with the likes of Davies in there. COuld have been a different story with Laursen playing but thats how it goes.

You think drunkenmaster? Personally for me, Tevez and Fletcher were in a class of their own for us today, they worked tirelessly and constantly won the ball back, Fletcher especially.

Man of the Match for me. Although you could arguably give it to Macheda as he was fantastic from the minute he came on with exceptional positioning.

Thought Villa where shocking going forward. Man U's defense was woeful throughout the entire first half and up until Nani was subbed. Then they started getting people behind the ball.

I'm disappointed with Villa. They should have definitely got another goal out of the game. Carew is good in the air, but he's like a brain dead donkey with the ball at his feet and when needing to make quick decisions.

Didn't you just change it this week after he scored a hattrick against Newcastle reserves?

Before that, I was watching his goals on MUTV before the Newcastle game so I put it up. Am I hell removing it with a hat-trick and a senior goal since.
Edit: In fact, I changed it during the Newcastle game as I was watching it on my Uncles new laptop.

His finishes were quality in that game, especially the last one.

As an Everton fan I was delighted that Man U won. Not beacuse it might halt the Livepool title challenge (I wouild like to see them win the title), but because my mate's a Villa fan and I've got a bet on with him that we finished higher than Villa.

Down to a point now so roll on net week. Should be a great game.
