I thought Carrick was actually a bit better today than he has been in recent weeks, totally agree with the Flecther praise though, he was running his socks off today.

Yep, the last was amazing. I was surprised he didn't throw himself to the floor for the second, the way the ref was going he'd have definitely gotten it
. Third was a combination of a fantastic cross and amazing first touch. Guthries peach wasn't too bad either. Fantastic game to watch, I was entralled for 90 minutes, made up for the horror of the 1-0, 90th minute Fabio penalty win over Middlesbrough for us.They have got some difficult games left, I wouldn't bet on that.

My point is, a few years Rossi was going to be the single greatest thing to ever happen at OT.....
Erm... Ronaldo is World Player of the Year, Rossi is one of the best young players in Spain and is rumoured for a big money move to Inter...
I'd take either to be honest.

Only because we couldn't guarantee him minutes and he was arguably too small in height for the Premiership. The move to Villareal was too good to turn down for the money and I believe we still have first refusal.
Macheda is a very different player to Rossi. Although both really good finnishers, Rossi plays deeper than Macheda and as said above is very small. Macheda will play off the last man and to be honest he will give us something different coming off the bench.

We scored on the 92nd min and teh injury time was from Milner coming off very slowly, Cuellar and Gabby injured on the floor....time wasting when walking over to throw ons...
That is seriously up there in my best game of this season, it had absolutely everything, I went from downright angry/upset to ectasy!
at 2-1, I thought it was all over...Macheda, what an amazing prospect, I've been talking about him for weeks now, and everyones been like "What?? Whos that"
Should now play a few games for us, as I think he is what we need; a striker who stays up front in the pen area who every player can play off!

Other than the first I don't think their defense did much wrong for the other two. Both were great bits of skill. And even with the first it was hardly a sure thing when we got the freekick.
It's quite funny that you weren't posting for a few weeks there, seemed to coincide with defeats against Liverpool and Spurs. We were worried. You should have checked in with us.
It should have been a wet dream for you today, your two favourite teams playing in the same game. Although you don't talk as much about Villa sadly.
