we were looking sharper, but again Diaby and denilson are completely and utterly non existant, and again the blame for the two awful players in midfield drops on Vela, whose confidence is spiraling out of control. Yes Vela hasn't done much but Diaby and denilson have been far worse and at the moment its defensively we need a change. We could have conceded 2-3 this half again. Denilson can't tackle or pass anymore, Diaby can't do anything and has started fouling again which pleasantly was absent from the first half, only because he can't remotely tackle and looks like breaking legs everytime he does.

Bendtners first touch was a smart run, then a good cross to Arshavin, shocked, not even slightly.

Frankly we need Eboue on in midfield, or maybe even Toure with Djorou stuck into defence or something. Another weekend that we could lose let alone just get a draw, and Villa could extend their lead.

but at least we're stil a full 2 points, yes 2 points ahead of Everton :(

Genius, take of Sagna when we need better defenders, rather than take off the worst two players on the pitch by a large margin. How many games this year will we basically play with 8 or 9 players. I mean its embarassing that I'm thankful Wenger didn't go Diaby left and Song in midfield to start, the only possible worse formation he could make.

took the first pass to Eboue to show he's got more than Diaby and Denilson in effort aswell as talent, Bendtner has been making chance after chance for the team with inteligent running.

Yup, i'm sure I agree with Bigbeard and the rest, Bendtner and Eboue suck, Diaby is brilliant and Denilson's been great all year :(

Diaby was terrible in the first half but had a few good moments in the second half, noticeably when we had period of good play. The guy's so lazy, I don't think he realises what happens to the team when he just sticks his foot in! :mad:

You're right that its a shame, earlier in the season it looked like we were going to have one of those legendary seasons where it was tight right to the end, finishing with one of those memorable last days of the season where sky show 2 or 3 matches live simultaneously. Sadly, in the last several weeks thats all gone and its now a predictable run in to the end of the season. (cept at the bottom which still looks like it holds some excitement)
 
So we need 3 goals to keep the hopes alive, and we bring on ....NGOG!

It's times like this where the difference in squads between utd and us is so obvious it hurts.

Should've been 3-0. If Benitez doesn't except some of the blame for this and gives anything but praise for Boroughs performance he'll lose a lot of respect from me.
 
That'll be a great win for Boro :d

Also just read that Fulham have the 4th best defensive record this year, were just not going to score :(

It's comedy gold.

2-0 down.
He replaces striker for striker- ok.
Defender with winger- ok.
Off midfielder with defensive midfielder!!!!

So in the end all he really did was replace the striker, the balance is about the same.
 
Thing that has made me laugh about Wenger this week is that last week Sunderland came and sat back all game and they did that very well - Wenger moaned, this team did not come here to play football!!

Today we're playing Fulham who have played really really well, they've come out and attacked and we still can't break this team down" I'm looking forward to hearing Wenger's excuses shortly!

Why o why do we not practice shooting at training? We can't do this, because our players look too bloody scared half the time to shoot!
