Fulham have conceded a few less goals than us, scored billions less, why we're playing an ultra defensive formation, against one of the worst scoring teams in the premiership I don't know, there strength all season was in central midfield, they are dominating that area with ease, it tells you something about that area but Wenger ignores it.
Every good central midfield we've played again Denilson has looked like he's barely a footballer. Eboue puts in more effort than any Arsenal player bar none, considering the hits he's taken from fans, his manager, and the press he's still there, still running harder, faster and more than anyone else. He's the freaking epitome of workrate and effort and since he's come on has been involved in almost every good piece of play. Arshavin is knackered, but probably needs the games. Denilson and Diaby still being on, we desparately needed Diaby and Denilson off, leaving Sagna and Vela on.
We're dangerously close to giving away 5th place now, no where near 4th, could be 9 points off the CL after this weekend, and frankly Roma were pants, we have no chance in hell of that midfield pair beating any of the top teams in Europe, we're looking at a massive massive loss eventually when we face a truly top team in form.
Seriously, Murphy hasn't been that good today, I'm not sure I've seen Diaby or Denilson withou 10yards of him all game.
Wigan, deserve it really for trying to waste time taking off their best player this late, well don't deserve it but, it was just stupid. big guy upfront who can actually hold it up when you need to kill time, take him off, ridiculous decision.

Agree. Hard to look on the bright side after this kind of display but Benitez has a higher win percentage than Fergie did after 5 years in charge so it's not all bad. Still a massive gap in quality between us and the Mancs though.

Today sums us up perfectly recently. Played rubbish, still managed to create a few decent chances but totally **** them up, concede a freak goal and then Tuncay manages to scuff one in the bottom corner.
